Isn't AF doing well? Do you work for him? Do you work at all?

I don't know AF, but there's nothin' like Area Manager home cooking! Some things never change.

I know this is the Phoenix board but I have to nominate Luke Thomas from U1 London. As a Manager he was running the Heathrow branch, only to leave the branch open and keys to the fleet out. Instead of being sacked he was moved to the Guildford office which at the time was the highest operating branch OP and ESQI wise, the previous manager being promoted to Area Manager. Over the next 6 months the OP went down, ESQI dropped - still leaving it a healthy looking branch but only due to the fact is was earning over £100/car before he got there. He was promoted to Area Manager - resulting in much disbelieving laughter by Branch and Area managers alike. Considering he was seen by the group drivers to forget to open his mouth whilst eating cornflakes and instead tipping the spoon down his white shirt, I think he did well. A few years later and his CV appeared on a colleagues desk. Needless to say he wasn't asked to interview. __________________ Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
