The last two area managers that were asked to leave were not performing. That is why they are no longer with ERAC. Their dedication was applauded but they were not able to find success.

The last area manager to leave was not asked to leave due to performance. Rather than just being honest and citing that as the reason for his termination, the powers at be waited until they could remove him on a technicality. There are few ERAC employees, past or present, who could hold a candle to this individual with regard to his dedication. While I understand that results are the measure of success, for all his dedication the least he deserved was some honesty from the people whom he admired and believed in.

It is still about performance. Dedication is great but when the dedication doesn' lead to performance then it is time to move on and find something else in which to dedicate yourself. It was not easy for the powers that be to do what needed to be done.

I get it. I said that. My point is that he was let go for performance but was told something else. Apparently it was difficult for the powers at be to simply do the right thing. So instead, they copped out.

So how does it make sense to force every area to soak up 06's cars? Isn't this robbin Peter to feed Paul? Remember how they used to tell us that we were running our own business??
