I have an announcement.....buh byeeeeeee to ERAC. 2day was my last day and oh my God I am soooo excited. No more bitchy customers, no more God-blessed, incessant phone ringing. No more habitual lies to the customers as to why, yet again, we're out of cars. This time, my salary will not be some calculated creative math .. it's actually printed quite clearly, and yes, I have it in writing. I'm going to sleep like a baby tonight. And to the ones I worked with at the branch...I really will miss ya. I hope they make it out sane, too. Peace :)

Cardinal, I was an MT when I left. My new job is actually picking up where I left at my old job, I will be working as a certified hostage negotiator ( you would have thought this would have helped difuse bitchy customers, huh) and secretarial work for a maximum security prison. MY hours are awesome.....I will be getting off by 2pm every day :-) An as far as why I left, yes it was a little of everything. Mainly because we never, ever had enough cars to fill reservations much less, having a spare to go out an market, pick up customers, etc. Running tight is one thing, but this was ridiculous. I just got sick and tired of lying to customers. Wow, actually, there is just a slew of reasons I left....the pay was definitely one. How ridiculous was that!!!! The HR mgr sent an email asking if she could do anything to get me to stay, other than that no, the upper management never even called. Basically, their outlook is "there are plenty more out there to take my spot". This place was so much more stressful and chaotic than walking into a maximum security prison in the middle of a riot. Totally insane and I am glad to be GONE. I do miss the BM and drivers/car prep, they were a lot of fun but realistically, it wasn't up to them to sign my paycheck. Hope that answers your questions.

i have never been to a prison so i do not know personaly if that is true but i know that all most every one in my area is quiting or looking for a new job. or has been let go seeing that the AM only wants his people that he trained in the area and they are trying to run every one off that was under the old AM. here is my story i stareded under a bad mgr and never got trained the right erac way then i got to move out of that office and i was getting trained vet well. but then i was told i hade to go to a diff. office and work and i was promised the world for a mt but that was just smoke blowing up my butt. then I was put in to a hostile work enviromentat the new office and HR let it happen then i was made to drive over 450 miles per week to a new office out of town without a choice w/o a company car or re paid for the gas and the AM knew what kind of car i own and the amount of gas it takes, was also awair i was spending 1/3 of my income mothly in gas. i was going to have to over qualify to take the mqi to be alowed to take it. i was told i had to get 2 more months on the top 1/2 of the matrix to be alowed to take it when i had already been on the top half 3 months in a row. i was left out of traing activities and mutiple other things. and i busted my but for them and only 2 mgrs seemed to give a rip about my career with erac
