Is Dan a vice president, or just a wrecking ball?

Why is it that Dan Adams takes great pride in telling everyone how many managers he made quit? I spent 8 years with Erac, and have been gone for several. We all have to work to live, but Dan's idea is to love money and use people, not the other way around. I was there during Fairbank, when Dan was brought in as his assistant. Fairbank was always very fair to me, but Dan just wanted to step on the little people to build another wing on his house. He has no honor.

Does he have any idea how phony he comes across when he is talking to you. He looks you up and down when he is talking to you, making you feel a little uncomfortable. He talks to you and sits there like he wants to be talking to you and acts like he is interested in what you are saying but his body language says, "shut the fuck up so I can go back to my office and do nothing."

Does he even know that everyone can see right through his false interest in every conversation he has. All he cares about is himself, and couldn't care less about any other person in our company. He will step on anyone that gets in his way.

When I ledt back in Dec. 01 I wrote an eight page diatribe/exit interview that included what an ass Dan really is. I hear that admin still brings up that letter on occasions. He's a self righteous bastard. However, he didn't cause me to quit. I left on my terms and was still offered two weeks as a Manager. Of course, I politely declined. I had nothing against my Area Manager and felt bad that I was leaving him in a bind but I know he understood. He probably would have left, too if he could have found a job.

I think he did find a job - in Traffic, what a career move. I used to like him back when he and Logan talked shit about "I don't care who gets that RRM as long as its not the guy from out west ". He is just an ass kisser like the rest now. Speaking of that, how good must it feel to be Don Norris, for whatever reason Dan has not fired you even though he cannot stand you. You are the same age as Talley or older and you are stuck, grow a backbone.
