I was a manager trainee for about 6 months in Wichita, before I decided to give it up. They are so worried about Hertz that the tension and deception is getting worse. I didn't want to be in an environment like that. I wanted to give good customer service and not get ridiculed for doing it.

I work in 51 and it is a great job. The problem with you panzies are that you have never known what it is like to roll up your sleeves and work. I am glad to get out there in the shop and wash a car or two and then go in and rent it to the customer. By doing everything then I do not have to pay anyone else to do it. I am not a rocket scientist but any one with half a brain knows that that translates into more money into my pocket by increasing my OP. And Hertz is nothing more than a wannabe. Their is a reason that we did 9 billion last year and they barely did 2 billion. Why don't you lazy turds get a life and quite bashing on a company that you obviously weren't strong enough to survive in. I am sure that there are companies out there that are willing to hire weak little bitches like all of you, just stop wasting my time.

Simple question - how is anyone here wasting your time? You DID come here to read this and then resond, didn't you? If that is a waste, then you are wasting your own time.

Enterprise did 9 billion dollars profit compared to Hertz 2 billion in profit
because A. Enterprise is a bigger company that generates more money.
and B. because Enterprise doesn't pay their "college graduates" a lot of
money. You were right when you stated your are not a rocket scientist!

And lets not forget how they cut costs. I am sure all of you here in Wichita have already heard what happened at our Admin office this week. While all of us have been walking in ice and snow all over our parking lots because Paul and Jay want to cut costs and not get our parking lots cleaned off one of our drivers falls and nearly fractures his skull and is in ICU with among other things broken ribs. And what is even more amazing is the second it happens the admin employees are moving their cars so the parking lot can be cleaned. Good job EE and Mr. Hill. bet you are praying this one does not come back and bite you. After all, this is the second time this driver has fallen in the parking lot with the first one resulting in a broken ankle. But hey, we saved money. I am so proud of this company the more and more I learn NOT!!!!!

This is the third repeat of this post in different threads however; I want to spread the word.

Everyone at ERAC lives and dies by the numbers, so if OP, ESQI, fleet growth are down and/or expenses are up it does not bode well for Kevin Hill, or Robert Conner or Jason Graham, all of who are on my get even list, including Peter Fleming and Brian Chaput, but it works with any ERAC management toad and the company as a whole will hear your cry.

If your local ERAC branch is washing cars on the property and the city is over 50K in population, contact the municipal government and file a complaint of improper waste water discharge, many complaints (online & phone) are anonymous. All business, municipalities, States etc. must comply with the Clean Water Act, a business like ERAC cannot just wash thousands of cars per day, week, month across the country etc. without the proper sanitary connection (i.e. drain that connects to a sewer) and/or they must have a NPDES permit, the waste water cannot just run into the gutter, vacant lot or parking lot so it will wash into the rivers, streams, lakes & ground water. This is called non-point pollution.

If your city has fewer than 50K in population contact the State office normally the DNC (Department of Natural Resources), if that fails contact the EPA and file an anonymous complaint: http://www.epa.gov/compliance/complaints/index.html

I have been reporting ERAC branches (specifically Kevin Hill’s area mainly but not limited to his area) to cities, States DNC & EPA offices for about 12-24 months, it is after all the law and ERAC is making/saving money on polluting the environment. Doing this forces the branches to pay $4.00 – $6.00 per car, for a commercial car wash (increases cost) it takes more time to drive to/from the carwash (ESQI suffers because response time for car turnaround increases, additional employee cost may be needed (ha, ha, ha like they would hire more people) to reduce the longer cleaning time) It has forced branches or areas to actually spend the capital improvement dollars on building onsite carwashes or pay for commercial carwash (increased cost & limits branch locations, limits and/or forces to buy/build verses leasing locations again goes to cost (OP), location, future growth restrictions, ESQI etc.)

However never report fictional or made up items, make sure you are in the right before you file any report with State or Federal government agencies, if you truly want to be taken seriously. Some States agencies have pretty serious penalties for false reporting so don’t go there. ERAC has plenty of sins to hide that are real so people just need to air the ERAC dirty laundry and this is just one way I get a little ray of sunshine a few time each month, and I don’t work for the company never have, never will.

If you feel there is a work place hazard at your office report it to OSHA (do you carry luggage or lift heavy item, maybe ERAC needs to provide hernia belts, hand protection for those smashed fingers in car doors & trunks, repetitive bending or movement when washing cars, typing or vacuuming ERAC may need to provide wrist and/or back braces etc. if you feel the need put in the request, check out workman’s compensation if needed equipment is not provided), if there is an employment problem report it to EEOC (can’t be anonymous however, but if you are on the way out, what do you have to lose?)

If ERAC is using false or misleading advertisements (bait & switch) or pricing cars below cost (easily proven when the branch has negative OP) to run the competition out of business (unfair business practices, predatory pricing, false advertising i.e. reserving cars/vans that don’t exist (never existed) just to get the consumer in the door so the consumer is stuck with what ever car is shoved at them, like that would ever happen at ERAC), contact the local State Attorney Generals office, Consumer protection agency etc, if you are a consumer you may have been a victim of fraud don’t take it, report it.

If you are a competitor of ERAC you better see your lawyer, when the ERAC prices suddenly drop to levels that you can’t compete with, I would bet the local branches are running at a negative OP, which ERAC can do longer than a “Price Less” or “Rent-a-Wreck” etc, the business owner may have legal standing against ERAC depending upon your state call a lawyer and find out.

Too many ERAC current/past employees are complaining and not getting even when they know where the skeletons are hidden, I would love to see the above mentioned people, out of a job, so I report, report, report, it is much more fun to actually do something material verses just complaining and as long as they are all employed I will continue to look for any and all means to report any violation I feel is provable & obvious to the proper authorities.

That is a chickenShlt way of getting back at someone. You are not hurting the company as much as you are the hardworking ABM's and BM's. They count on a bonus check just to pay the bills...God knows the base pay isn't good enough. Quit being a jerkwad and find other ways to "f" with the green machine.

On another note...where did Avis come from? I see they have started taking some accounts away from ERAC. It doesn't matter, Red or Yellow...I hope they all take down the GREEN!!!
