More info about Steve Weidner

[Slippery Rock]

I am a former employee who worked under this guy for several years. He is/was the worst person and manager that I ever worked for in my life. This man is resposable for putting several of his managers in the hospital for heart and stomach related stress problems. How he got promoted to GP51 is a huge question in my mind. He has alway has been profitable so I guess this is why?????

1. Steve has a problem with his face turning red whenever he gets the least bit excited. (I think that there is a actually a medical term for this). It is very funny to watch him in his "sell up meeting" getting all red in the face.

2. Steve's friends call him "butter". I am not sure why. He gets a real kick out of this when you say it to him.

3. He says the word "buddy" a lot in training/work related events. For example, Hey buddy nice job getting pack on that old man"..is how he will use it.

4. Steve loves TO USE THE RALH PRINTER MESSAGE SYSTEM(COMMAND 16?) AND TYPE IN ALL CAPS TO GET HIS MESSAGE ACROSS TO HIS MANAGER'S WHO HE REFUSES TO DEAL WITH DIRECT.

6. He had a mullett when he first started with ERAC in GP57

7. His face turns purple after it turns red and then fades to white right before it goes back to normal.

8. Love to hire anyone who even touched a soccer ball.

9. Like to show everyone that he is strong by flexing his mucsle in front of office staff (esp women)

11. Takes chances on new hires that most AM's would pass on and then pawns them off onto someone else's area when they don't work out.

12. Says book everything and over promises to the corporate accounts in town for the NASCAR race inthe Poconos....then mysteriously disappears that weekend. Good job as LCAM, "buddy."

Hey I think it is a great thing regarding this "second wave" mailing that is going to name Steve Weidner in it. I wonder how the company is going to spin this. Butter was such a jerk. He deserves what is coming to him. The best day of my life is when I no longer worked under old red face. Looking back at it, I cant beleive I put up with so much.

Fyi - Slippery Rock U is where SJW went to school. He loves to brag about it a lot. I am not sure why. I'm sure Slippery Rock is a great school and all it is just a shame that it has to be associated with Butter.

This was a very funny post....the FUNNIEST part is that every word of it is true.

Hey Butter, it's time you know....your employees are under-minding you every day. How do you feel knowing when you leave the room, we laugh at you? Think about all the energy you are expending on developing and rolling out new plans (or shall I say "schemes") to enforce on us to make YOU look better. It's all about you Butter, isn't it? Think about how much less time you have to spend with your FAMILY (the ONLY people that really care about you) to try to train us to run the branches YOUR way. And all we do is mock you. That SUCKS...doesn't it?

Butter, you are in a no-win situation. No one respects you as a City Manager, or even a person. The machine will continue to chew up and spit out employees, so who knows, if you hang in long enough, we will all leave and you can start over with a whole new batch. Maybe that is how you made it this far (I still can't figure out how you got promoted) Only problem is, the day a new person starts, we will be sure to "orient" them.

You know, the more I think about it, I have seen that purple shade in his face! And that's what the J stands for...who knew?

Don't forget one of Steve's infamous quotes for marketing: "I've never done a sales call to somebody where I couldn't make them like me." Uh-huh. Too bad you don't have the same success with the employees you meet.

Of course, you do know how Steve got promoted if you think about it. His schemes do create a ton of extra income, and 51EO was apparently not generating enough for the corporate snakes. Therefore, they take this little firecracker from Pennsylvania that talks a big game and set him loose with an "unlimited budget". Too bad the employees can see right through your unethical practices. Some of his ideas are good ones, so don't get me wrong. However, all you have to do is read the letter posted on the main page, and you know all you need to know about SJW!
