nope, no life outside the office. ERAC is my family, friends, social support, in control of my finances, lifeblood, daddy...

If we (ERAC and I) ever divorced, I wouldn't know what to do with myself. Where are my Nike's and handkerchief? I'm already drinking the kool-aid.

How do you sleep at night? Referring people to work at ERAC? Did you not think too highly of them? Or did you think they WOULDNT be pissed at you after the fact? Or did you take your referral check (taxed at almost 50%) and just say,"screw em'?"

None of the above. You forget what it's like to get out of college and assume the offers will come to you and being broke, having bills and needing the first available offer to make ends meet. My friends didn't have vast support systems like most ERAC employees do, they needed a job that moment and I was fully up front about what it's like. I also told them about the referral cash and none of them cared, they were each desperate for a paycheck. It amazes me that those who are so regularly "embarassed" to work at ERAC have no idea what that feels like.

It appears that "desperate for a paycheck" and "no time to interview" are two important themes at Enterprise.

not all of us have the luxury of being picky on our first job.

As I've said before, I'm happy...there are happy people at ERAC. Just because many people here aren't doesn't mean they don't exist, it just means I'm a minority...so you should be protecting my opinion...or, better yet, weighting it.

What referral bonus??? I brought 2 people on board and never got one friggin dime. They would always say, "They have to be on board for a minimum of 6 months." So I would wait, they would stay, and I still would not get the money. At one point, they told me to stop asking questions about it and be a team player. They can all go fuck themselves.

Only at Enterprise can happy employees be a "protected minority".

<grin>

Seriously, though, I understand there are something like 65,000 employees at Enterprise and that employees who are happy or who are pretending to be happy are probably underrepresented here.

I'm sure there are plenty of happy employees at Enterprise, and I see that you also do a good job of representing them.

Employees who are pretending to be happy. This is true! We've all had the customers that, somewhat sarcasticly, say "Are you happy at your job?" We butter the position up and talk about how great it is and how much we really do. Now, the question comes to mind: Who you trying to convince? The customer, or yourself?
