Anyone from GP51?

I worked for ecrap in GP 51 (Arkansas) and thank goodness quit a year ago. Anyone on this site works/worked there? Is it still as bad as it was a year ago?

Enlighten us about GP51 in AR.... BTW I thought the GM of GP51 was always well respected... or was the RVP a turd?

GP51 was the most spreadout GP there was/is. Is it still all together? I am sure it will become at least a couple GP's when the GM "retires".

You are right. I have never seen a more spread out group. From what I remember it has most of Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri (except St. Louis ) most of Kansas, north Texas and north Louisiana.
The GM is long before retirement, however with two back to back Jack Taylor awards he may be getting promoted soon. My friends got a fake leather notebook as a present for the award!!!
Most of their complaints are actually on the RVP and the RRM. From what I hear the RRM is a ex corporate marketing guy who thinks he knows it all. Everyone hates him there. They call him a fake schmoozer!!

51D is having serious issues! The RRM came in once they started really doing well. Then on the coat tales of a pretty good Region, they win their first Presidents Award in Orlando. The RRM got credit for something he had nothing to do with. Then the fallout begins, as this RRM who came from corporate clashed personalities with the managers. Since then I know of a handfull of BRM's an ARM and myself that have finally quit or were terminated.

What would you like to know? I've worked in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, so I know them both very well.

This past Saturday was the big group holiday party, and they had like over 1200 employees and their families sitting in this huge room. The presentation went ridiculously long, like over an hour, where they preached about what a great place Enterprise is and how we're better than everybody else. They then talked about the family atmosphere at ERAC, and of course beat the dead horse about our many many values that we live by each and every day. Uh-huh!

Well, it was about four hours later that several in upper management were evicted by armed officers for partying too hard and loud in the hotel. I don't think anybody was arrested (at least I didn't hear anything about that) but I did see several get taken out of the hotel while they were screaming in a drunken rage. So, that's the family atmosphere and values that you were just spewing about a few hours earlier?

Is Rikki still there in remarketing in AA? Has Lerch started drinking again? Does Tally still live at the Mansion at the County Club (LaGardia?)? Have they fired the RRM in DD? Lord knows thats overdue!

I still respect many of the folks in Management in GP51 and I'm not here to trash those folks. I learned alot in my 5 years with ERAC and wouldn't trade it for anything. It makes you appreciate life some much more when you finally move on.

Are 517D and 5176 still shitholes?
