Work your asses off??? Are you washing cars in 90 degree weather? Are you constantly looking for cars to help customers out? Do you have to skip lunch over half the days? Let me help you out NO, NO, and NO. I am sorry but working your asses off is not sitting in an air conditioned building all day long working 8-5. Nice try buddy. You must be a Chaput clone. Wake up

"Apparently you didn't understand what I said. Stop wining or get another job. It's your choice to work for Enterprise and in Rental so the only one you have to blame is yourself." I am glad I left enterprise over 2 years ago. This is exactly the type of attitude that is prevalent at admin. Here's the problem, I'm not sure who you are, but I probably have met you somewhere along the line. When I was hired by enteprise over 3 years ago, I was promised very specific things. I chose to work that the company I was promised. Enterprise is NOTHING like was is said at the interviews. It's not the car washing, or the fact I used to work 10 hours during the week off the books(out of team "spirit"). The problem is that to look good within Enterprise, you are far better of being as skeezy, as deceptive, as back stabbing, as dishonest with customers and as dishonest with your numbers(like the 2 pm count) as possible. And you are morally, and sometimes legally, bound by what you promise new hires. I realize morals is something talked about at enterprise but hardly ever practiced - yet I think you know my point. Be honest, then people won't turn down other job offers to work for your company. If you are dishonest, don't come back saying "well you can always quit" because employees have families, they have people to support, it's not that easy. Get a clue. Oh, and I will tell you one thing about Brian. Hell of a great guy to hang out with, or apparently play hockey with, but Brian is exactly what is expected of a enteprise employee who has very little knowledge of Human Resources outside of Enterprise itself. Brian would die as the HR guy in almost every other company I've ever dealt with.

Well Mr. Hill, looks like you are running EE into the ground. Another admin person quit today. That makes 4 in the last 8 months that have left for one reason or another. Poor chapped lips. There goes your retention. I am sure that you will find one way or another to pad your numbers. Guess not award for you this year. Oh wait, you have not won one yet. You even have an area manager that left to take a huge pay cut just to get out of Wichita and away from all the BS that goes on there. Too bad McCallay's girlfriend is not into accounting then they would get to see each other daily. But I am sure he is doing a wonderful job. I mean $15/car in uninsured losses YTD. That is only almost double what he had last year. Guess his mind is on other things. The ship is sinking Mr. Hill. Maybe less time on the golf course and more time in the office figuring out how to keep employees.

I just found out who quit at 51EE admin. It was Angela from accounting, she finished her accounting degree and went on to bigger and better money. Funny thing about her, she always dressed like my grandma..In a way it turned me on, I just knew in all her uptight conservative dress was a vixen yearning to be released. I tried to bang her a coulpe years ago at the Christams party that we have in January. Take care

Good for Angela, she was usually one of the few bright spots in my day when I worked in 51EE. I'm glad she wasn't fooled forever into thinking Enterprise was a great place to work. I'm also glad that she wised up and received an actual accounting education. I dealt with accounting almost weekly, in particular over fellow co-worker fraud throughout my region(A few employees that faked numbers to get bonuses - faked numbers included the 2pm count, questionable DW schemes, questionable rental policies/rates, along with 5 or 6 other things.) You may say, the 2pm doesnt count in the long run, or the DW sales are just that - but in this particular case, there was a unique bonus structure set up just for a few employees. So let's say he or she'd get 500 bucks for 90% or greater at 2pm for the month, etc. The biggest change for Angela, is that whatever company, unless it's following the Enron business strategy, will be far more concerned about the honesty of the actual numbers - especially if she works for a public company. I recall when I worked at E, one level III employee explained that the only reason E wasn't public, is that there was a lot of concern over accounting errors/fudging of the numbers. Wonder if that's true?
