| I heard that Ebony just left at 61. I guess from the posts up above this is leaning towards a very long year for the retention folks. I can name at least 3 more managers just in KS that plan to leave in the next 3 months. I didn't really believe all the stuff about Hill running this place into the ground but after being around long enought you start to see it. Todd gets demoted (kind of funny how we move people to new positions because they suck in rental ie Mary Eckerson). Guess he spent too much time with Steph after hours and morning hours for that matter. Guess along with the weight loss he makes her feel more like a woman. Wonder what Jack thinks of all this turmoil in the region. I am sure he is happy with the hire since he now has a full group of males to golf with and does not have to worry about accomodating the females at group meetings. Curious to see what others in this region are feeling about all the movement. I am sure Janie is real happy to be in the great city of Wichita. Anyone else have any thoughts? |

| The problem with the area is simple, Kevin Hill, Peter (Pete) Fleming, Robert (Rob) Conner, and Brian Chaput. I know the Peter eater is gone to NY however he never met male employee he did not want to hug, and hug again ah the memories of being groped. Peter destroyed many careers to advance his own, all the folks above except Brian Chaput care only for getting up the ladder at all cost, Brian enables the others by protecting them from getting in legal trouble and handles so called employment reallocations and keeps his lips moist. Jack Talley is obviously too wrapped up in his own world to see these men will cost him HIS job one day. The area manager in Springfield (Mike) quit and left the company to work with his family because of the poor treatment and lack of management skills and faith in the lying group of bosses Peter, Rob & especially Kevin, as far as Mary well you don't suck at rental and stay with the company for 10-15 years, I do believe she was the number one LCAM company wide not that many years ago, however after Pete took over and micromanaged her area into the ground it does appear that she sucked but that was what Peter wanted, how does one go from #1 LCAM and a long sucessful career to shit in less that 12 months with just one change of management, maybe Peter and Kevin don't like women after all there are fewer in positions of management today than when Mindy went north. It's no wonder Mike quit and I am surprised Mary did not quit along time ago, I remember that Peter and Kevin was responsible for the price war with Thrifty, National and Dollar a couple of years ago, you try to make money at 17.00/18.00 per day for a full size car, even a 8th grade dropout knows it is a losing proposition for any business when you get into a price war, but not Kevin Hill or Peter Fleming. It is very simple for most of you that have not been in the business world, when you are the new manager pick someone, anyone or several someone’s who may be vulnerable and treat them like shit, by putting everyone around you down and making your boss (Kevin) believe they are worthless it make you look like you saved the day and ERAC can't live without you, Peter Fleming promotional advice 101, it works for me. |

| Hello fellow 51EE peeps. Let me say I have forgooten my login name but my id is irentcars. Everything said in the above post about Peter,Kevin,Rob ihit the nail on the head. I left the green tea cult little over a year ago.I still vist a few of the bracnches where some of my friends are still at. I did not know Mike quit. He had quite a few years in. Brian has no balls, there was an employee who mishandled a customer problem who was still an MT. He was trying to do a managers job and take care of it the best he could.The employee was being verbally abused by a customer with whose credit card was declined. The MT offred as many sugestions as he could to help the customer out. To no avail the customer kept cussing and hollering at the employee. BTW there was no manager or assistant in the brach when this happened,Just the new MT with about 3 months experience. Well the customer called 1800 ERAC and told them that her cc had declined and that the MT said for exchange of sex he would get her into a car. Well since the manager was on SALES CALLS LOL, yeah right and the assistant manger was out doing whatever it was just he said, she said.So the next day mr chaplips called up the employee talked to him.Then about ten minutes later the Area Manager shows up and fires him for sexual miscouduct. So to keep the customer happy the brach gave her a free rental for the week with unlimited miles. So ladies all you have to do to get a free car reantal is anytime you rent a car at ERAC and it is a male that waits on you. If there is ever a moment where there is no one else around to hear or see. Claim sexual harassement or whatever and get a free car because mr Chaplips has no balls and will take the customers word and the comapny will treat you like a queen.... laters, |

| Peter Fleming - Promotional Advice #102 – When asked a question from an employee and you don’t have a clue as to the answer, cuss out the employee, tell them that it is their job to run the office not yours and if they can’t find a solution to the problem on their own you will get someone else to run the area/branch that can. This is great advice; first you don’t have to admit your own stupidity as far as not knowing the answers, (to any questions) second after cussing out the employee they will probably not ask any future questions for fear of getting accused of being ignorant and incapable of doing their job, and third it make you feel so good to make people scared of being terminated that others will hear about what happened and they will be too afraid of asking you any question, thus saving you embarrassment of looking stupid in front of the troops. |

| Peter Fleming Promotional Advice #103 – When in a meeting with your boss (Kevin Hill) and/or other area/branch managers simply repeat (paraphrase) what Kevin Hill is saying every now and then, number one your boss will be pleased with your participation in the meeting/conference call, and best of all you will get a warm get your chap stick out smile that only the approval of your green master can give you, come on you know the look, the baby you are going places just take one more for the company look and the next promotion is yours*. This works great for self promotion, first you look like you agree with your boss (Kevin Hill or whoever) because you are basically concurring with everything they say. Second you will never be put in a spot where you actually have to think and there is no way you will ever contradict what your boss is saying. Basically you can be a flat line comatose “leader” and get away with it because you are nothing but a parrot, no conflicts with your boss and no reason to have an independent thought in your head. This method will guarantee good reviews and promises of future promotions, it worked for Peter (Pete) Fleming and the best part of this method is the smart company bosses at the top (Kevin Hill, Jack Talley) don’t have a clue as to your little secrete method of using them to get to the next level, they think you are a genius because you an them think so much alike. However it does make your bosses appear to be a complete bunch of morons because they are clueless to your little tricks, but this is an added bonus because you are really smarter than they are anyway at least in your own mind, oops maybe I should not have said this part, am I bad. *The promotion is yours today and only today and as long as someone else does not advance my career between now and the next promotion, or complain, or threaten to quit about the time the said promotion is open, and your numbers don’t suck the month before, and you haven’t embarrassed me in public, or disagreed with me, or failed to bow down when I enter the room or for any other reason I deem material at the time you apply for said promotion I have the right to refuse you the promotion and give it to the new guy that just started in the last six months because they live for ERAC and give 110% unlike your sorry ass. |

| I am surprised you guys still talk about Pete. He's been gone for a long time in Enterprise terms. The guy is dishonest, he rarely has good ideas, but he's great at kissing ass, trying to charm others, and like his former quasi boss Talley, when in doubt he smiles and pulls rank. What bothered me most about Pete is that he never really answered a straight question. I could never figure out if it's because he is incapable of comprehending basic questions, or perhaps he did not know how to answer, or perhaps he frankly did not care. Either way, I'm glad I left long ago. Looking back, I've concluded that Enterprise is a great company for those who have slightly below average, average, or slightly above average iqs who feel no compunction about being dishonest with co-workers and customers. While a lot of my co-workers back then have now been promoted to area manager positions, I have to say, I'm very happy I left because I now have offers for the same amount of money but in jobs that are both far more rewarding and even more importantly, jobs that are far more ethical. By the way - if it's Mike Odom that you guys are talking about, I always found him to be a good guy. I only met the man maybe 3 or 4 times, but I found him to be far more genuine than most branch managers(at the time he was a branch manager). One more point - I seriously wish a local tv station in EE would "rent" cars from Enterprise and perform safety checks in particular on the tires. I recall on several occasions I had to flat out "disobey" my boss in order to ensure tires were drivable. It's really sad that so many enterprise employees become numb to the fact that they are renting vehicles that could pose a serious danger to the driver/passenger(s) and public in general if they are not kept up. |

| To talk about Peter is to talk about Kevin Hill or Robert (Rob) J. Conner; any one of the three stooges names can be substituted in any of posting and get the same results. Kevin and Peter were past associates as is Rob Conner with Peter (Rob has been to visit Peter on several occasions on the east coast) and any one stooge is different in their attitudes towards employees, customers or their own personal careers. I prefer to use Peter’s name because he holds a special place in my heart and dreams right out of a Dean Koontz or Stephen King novel. In my opinion Mike Odom was an asset to ERAC, and thanks to Peter & Rob and by extension Kevin Hill and Jack Talley *(KOKO…) went on to a better life at a huge loss of training, knowledge, experience and investment by the ERAC Corporation. It is one thing to lose an MT but when Area Mgt. or higher leaves the company that is a real bottom line loss of thousands of employee investment dollars over several years that was spent to get them there. The sad thing is if Peter was actually controlled by Kevin or at a minimum Rob was a better replacement and not exactly same as Peter, Mike and others would still be at ERAC. I hope Andy, Pam and Don promote Jack Talley & Kevin Hill just to get them out of town, like Peter. After all ERAC like to promote problems out of site, out of mind not rewards success. * You’re swimming in a sea of green shit, so if you like to breathe and keep your job Keep on Keeping On. |

| 1. Ebony didnt quit by choice. The unethical behaviors she exhibited would have gotten anyone fired a long time ago. The fact that she was a black woman is the only thing that held her on as long as it did. No on can deny that. 2. Richard Mouser didn't exactly quit either. The combination of the 'Krystal' incident from a few years ago, Holly Bane's disgruntlement with him (which resulted in her leaving), and another "unnamed incident" resulted in his ousting. 3. I can't believe no one has talked about the inappropriate relationships going on between employees---A former LCAM screwing an MT, a department head screwing a branch manager, an admin employee screwing a branch manager (two separate instances), branch managers screwing each other, etc. Amazing how people can kiss ass to get certain higher-ups to "look the other way" |

| We can add a few more to the list now. Janie quit a few weeks ago and Cory Blair left. That is one manager and one assistant in a month. You had Krystal step down as manager. But as uppermanagement would say this is opportunity. As any one in the business world would say, the ship is sinking. Looks like 4 in a row is a pipe dream. Oh yeah, and you demote Todd because you sure do not want to take a hit in retention because from the looks of things you cant find enough new positions for these people. One last one to throw in is another assistant, Rachel took a move to admin because it was a better position, NO, because she hated how things are done in rental under the leadership of Mr. Graham. Jason, why are you such a dick to everyone. Is Steph not giving you any anymore. Should be since Todd is out of the picture now. Makes it nice for you to have the power to move one person, your competition out of the way so you can have her all to yourself. Good luck with that one. |
