More Complaints: Here's a taste of some stuff I was discussing with a fellow employee this morning in regards to the inability of the insurance company to be compatible with their own national agreement with ERAC: Her: So why does it take so long for them to pay anything? Me: Are you kidding? You should see this place around AR time!! We have the spreadsheet (meticulously created into a wroker-friendly format divided up by each adjuster listed into seperate states and numerically by claim number for easy distribution) sent out by the second Tuseday of each month with a very friendly request that they get paid by the 4th thursday. Well, come that 4th thursday, i have to physically walk each claim one-by-one to the adjuster it belongs to and stand next to their desk and wait, breathing quietly and patiently over their shoulders, until I see them create the payment with my own eye. And when i show up again, they are upset and say "why don't you just make me a list?" Trying not to get hot in the face, i calmy reaply, "I did. At the first of the month. But maybe you didn't get that one. So, here I am." And I shove another sticky note at them. Her: It's like they totally abuse the system. If we dont get their customers going IMMEDIATELY, they scream!!! and then they can't pay stuff for months and months!!!!! Me: they abuse the heck out of it. and then expect us to be all over it when it comes to their customers and scream to high hell when we cant perform a specific situational task for one customer who wants a gold-plated convertible mustang GT with all leather and 7 passenger seats delivered for free to El Diablo, Arizona when the closest branch is 756 miles away in california and then try and throw "well, the national contract states...blah blah blah..." and all i can do is call the branch and they laugh at me and tell ME to go to hell and I try and relate the message back to the insurance company the adjuster goes to my boss and tells her I have a bad attitude. wanna see bad attitude?? F*** YOU!!!! I have a copy of the national contract stapled to my forhead (side of my cubicle) so, any time youd like to argue about what it says, please, come see me. too bad it doesn't state anywhere "The Insurance Company will agree to Pay all bills in a timely and organized manner, to the best of their ability. The insurance Company will also treat fellow Enterprise employees with respect and not back-stab them and throw them all under the bus when it comes to paying rental bills or making extensions." But then it would also have to say something about giving Enterprise halos and winged horses to ride to work every day beacsue at that point we would have all died and gone to Heaven!!!!!!!! |
