GP 51 carsales is "miserable" because they have been hiring outside the company. Enterprise "values" are no longer in tact, and it is quickly turning into a true dealership atmosphere. The "new hires" that they are bringing in are a complete joke, and have run off alot of good employees.

You can make money selling cars for enterprise. If you want to bow down and kiss the a** of every dumb redneck with no credit. You have to be tied to a phone all day making basically cold calls. credit unions want nothing to do with enterprise. people ask you what you do and you have to make up some kind of synonym for cheesy car sales guy. You find yourself ruining your suit being a shine boy for some toothless guy you just sold a car to at 22% interest. I don't feel comfortable even doing that to somebody. I go to work now and I wear a suit make a good bit more money and I don't have to lie to people every day and jam overpriced crap down there throat. I actually have an office where somebody is not taping my conversations or listening over your little cubicle. Then to top it off that car you sold to the toothless guy, he walks up to you with a smile and says ah i changed my mind and returns it on the seven day policy. How can you blame someone for running away.

Default guy that made 80k before he left

why did you leave if it was so great selling 200 cars. I don't thing 80 grand is crap for the work you have to do to sell 200 cars. screw that the company i just got a job with the base salary is 68k and commissions are much much bettter enterprise especially when you are nothing but a used car saleman. ever location is different too people maket conditions, how many ae's how many leads. they will have like 5 ae's working with only about 250 leads. even if you sold 1 for every ten lead thats only like 5 or 6 cars.

He doesnt have to pay alimony/child support, as long as he sends her 15-20 "done deal" HOT leads a month. Take those away, and she is nothing more than another crooked toothed monkey bitch, working 60+ hours a week selling 6-8 cars a month.

GP 51 has a salesperson that sells 250+ and I wouldnt be surprised if there is something similar going on as well.

The main problem with Car Sales is that most of the credit union "partners" are credit unions in which an enterprise employee in the past SCREWED UP the relationship, to the point where there is no way they would want to do business with enterprise again. (Paying loan officers under the table, to send deals) Yet, they keep hiring new people that "DONT KNOW" what really happened. So the "new guy" gets to walk into a credit union everyday with a cheesy smile on his face, and gets to "market" to people who DONT WANT TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ENTERPRISE. But 9 months later, after the moral of the "new guy" has been broken and the credit union STILL doenst send deals, management pressures the salesman, and wants to know WHY THE FUK ARENT YOU GETTING ANY BUSINESS FROM YOUR CREDIT UNION? (even though they know WHY) Its a viscious cycle, and thats why I bounced.

Oh...and if they ever tell you they are "getting" ready to open a new branch. RUN FOR THE HILLS!!! It is just another ploy to get you to stay around. 3 years later, they will say "next year," and so on and so on. Even when they have NO intenton of opening a branch at all.

Wow that is really sleazy! But enterprise loves those people that can do great like that "too good" basically. Enterprise will turn a blind eye for money any day.

I did work in gp 51. I knew Jeff K. I also knew a guy named Clint who was the manager. I heard none of those guys are still around. Who is the regional carsales manager now?
