From what I recall, Murad is a real hard worker. The type of guy who lives, eats, breaths Enterprise 24/7. His first "real" experience was up in Kirksville where he helped grow a small branch to profitability. For those who do not know, Kirksville is a branch 90 or so miles north of Columbia and for many years Columbia had to drive insurance cars up to Kirksville, Brookfield, Memphis and other like places up in North-Middle and North Eastern Missouri. The Kirksville branch was very small, 15 to 20 cars, and I think topped out around 35 or so at one point. I'm not sure what it is at now. Murad then went down to 519r in Columbia. Where, ironically, he was in the same city as Theel(5194 at the time). Murad was a fairly good manager at 519r. He grew fleet, and he was usually decent to his employees. Then, from what I hear, he went out to the Wichita Airport. Murad used to be a stickler to the rules. He was fairly honest. I hope he remains that way now. Haley Theel is a bit different. She's not particularly honest - although she's very deceptive at hiding her dishonesty. Unlike Murad, Haley is more like a typical "not so honest" Enterprise Employee.

This is an email I wanted to send to Haley on my last day with ERAC. I saved it. Since we have a thread dedicated to Haley I thought I would post it. Haley, I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know today is my last day here at EARC. I wanted to "THANK YOU" for all the times I called you and aksed you for cars and you never gave us any. I always knew your answer would be no. But I wanted to call just to say I called and tried, and thanks for wasteing my time when I should of been calling someone else. THANKS! I want to "THANK YOU" for all the times I called and asked for cars and was told you would call me back and never did. Making me have to call you again and ask and only being told no.. THANKS!! I Also want to THANK YOU for making me call Adam and having to ask him for cars from you and him having to call you to get those cars.( oh yeah by the way that happed last summer, I have not forgotten I do hold grudges) I also want to "THANK YOU " when I was told you had NCS and when I called, you said there was none left and again I had to call Adam, or Lance to get the NCS from you. Nothing like lying to other people then getting caught in the lie. CLASSIC! I also want to "THANK YOU" for all your team work you have shown. You put the "T" in teamwork. Also in teamwork there is no "I" but there is "M" and a "E" "ME" You also put the ME in teamwork. Your teamwork, harwork and dedication will not be forgotten by me or others you have affected in this company. I know you will go far in this company, the sky is the limit. If you notice there is a bit scarcasim in this comment, then your are a genuius in your comperhension skills. I decided to send this email to you since I had nothing negative to say in my exit interview. So I chose you to vent at and tell you how I feel. Of all the offices I have ever had to call to get cars I dreaded calling yours because I hated listening to your condensending tone in your voice. THANKS! I also want to "THANK YOU" for all the NCS you added this week and did not bother to let other offices know there were cars availbale. THANKS! Finally I do want to "THANK YOU" for all the times you did give up cars to me. I did apperciate that. THANKS If this has upset you or hurt your feelings, I am sorry, I will call you an ambulance to take you to the hospital, maybe someone there will care. I wish you the best in your career at ERAC, just remember when you did not help out all those other ERAC offices, what goes around comes around! Lets see how this condedending BIOTCH makes it. I perdict she will not last and will take a demotion like Mary E

You're not far off. Haley is very clever at trying to appear "honest" and "likable" and "average" but at her core she is incredibly shrewd, dishonest, and willing to cut corners no matter what may happen. This is why she's great for ERAC. I was one of the few Enterprise employees who didn't "hold" contracts until 2pm. I would routinely get informally disciplined for that. And Adam - ha - did u interupt his golf game? or his sleeping? or his fourth lunch of the day? What bothered me most about Adam is that he lacks any type of personality whatsoever. He just kinda is a floating blob from office to office. He can't lead. He never seems to know anything. I'm shocked he's still an area manager. I know he felt burnt when Pete came in from Seattle and took the regional rental job. Enterprise, particularly in this area, has every advantage in the world - lower costs(especially 5194 prior to the move), state farm, MU, the state, Stephen's College, tons of body shops and dealerships, and virtually zero competition. Avis holds cars for long periods of time, and really only owns the long distance drive market. Hertz has been virtually non-existent for years. Joe Machens runs their service as a way to avoid putting their customers through the Enterprise Experience. Machens really doesn't compete for any other business. But, 5194 an 519r with a lesser extent 519k and 5196 constantly suffocate each other's ability to grow. Holding contracts, passing off dangerous/damaged cars, competing for the same corporate clients, etc etc. It's all because Adam has no leadership skills. I think it's real interesting that both Murad and Haley are area managers now as I was very familiar with both their operations in Columbia - Haley(5194) and Murad(519r). Murad, when I knew him, was a straight shooter. He got caught up in a lot of the nonsense too, but he didn't lie. At least never to me.

and just as a brief history. 519r was formed in 2002 I believe. Prior to that, 5194 was a 200 to 250 car branch. The manager(Todd was the last one I believe, perhaps it was Stephanie), used to make tons of money as the branch was insanely profitable. The rent was only about 500 bucks a month for that 200 to 250 car branch. That branch was basically the equivalent of running a small area.

Mr. Chaput. How do you feel about Miss Theel telling an employee she could care less about their personal life that they are there to make money? Founding values taking a hit here. Or is she given a free one since she is a women in upper management? I would think this would be rather troublesome to hear coming from someone in her position. I could be wrong. From what I have read about you and what I have seen from you looking the other way is more up your alley.

this is all A LOAD OF SHIT. YOU ALL NEED TO GET A LIFE

murad is a good guy he earned his promotion. haley on the other hand is very questionable. the one that got screwed is kole. he has had more employees promoted and double his fleet since taking over than any other manager. i do not now how he takes it. he gets more shit from upper management than anyone else and he stays. i guess he likes to punish himself
