Default New Employee

I just sterted working at Enterprise a few weeks ago and recieved my first check. I have yet to experience any of these events on this site. Yes I have had an unruly customer, but that is typical in sales. We do not have to wash cars unless we want to becasue we have a car prep and so I may wash my car or help out when I'm really bored. My office is great yeah the hours may be a little long (7am-6:30pm and 2 saturdays out of the month), but we are so busy it doesn't seem bad at all. The pay was awesome especially for the area I live in. I make well above the median. My first check I brought home $1,200, and it is only expected to get better. I don't particuarlly like the white/blue shirt dress code, but it makes for easy dress in the morning and plus the $500 gift card that will be arriving will help alot! I am coasting on a great job, with great pay, and great benefits. The turn around in this area is low and everyone loves the job, and I've heard no one complain that is why I decided to look into it. I don't understand or have experienced these negativities, but if I do I will be sure to let you all know...until then Fayetteville NC enterprises are great. If anyone is this area feels different please let me know. I am told I will be an MA in six months with a raise of about $5-10k plus bonuses. We are making good bonuses now and I can't wait to see those checks! If I'm wrong, let me know please. Thanks! Excited about the dream!

Please research this site. While some of the postings are exaggerated and immature, the majority of the negative things that go on at ERAC are true. This company will brainwash you into believing you are the next RVP. Don't buy into the BS of all the growth and opportunity there is to move up. While, this was true in the 80s when all the big wigs got in, it is no longer true. ERAC is not opening up many new branches. In fact, they have closed a ton of locations. Ask abouyt what happened in Germany. Did they tell you will make more money with each promotion? Did they tell you you will be making 6 figures in 6 years with your virtual MBA? Promotions now are based on turn over, which usually happens at Level II and below or branch manager and below. Once you get to this position, you are chances of moving up are slim to none. Think back to the interviews when they were selling you "the dream" more than you were selling yourself. Any company that has to push the job to get people on board should be a red flag. Once you get above the MA level, you are straight salary with commission. You will also be putting in a ton more hours. Often times, the MTs make more money than their Assistants because they get overtime. Actually when you break down the hourly wage for assistant managers, many are lucky to gross $10/hr overall. If your branch has a bad month, the Assistants will make less money than the MTs. A promotion with more hours, stress, and less compensation. Hmm, let me think about that....

Also, you mentioned you can't wait to see those checks. You will never be shown an Area Manager check or any manager for that matter if they want to keep you. They will only tell you what they or others above them make but never prove it. This is way to keep you there, so you will keep working for peanuts hoping to one day make it big. When they do show you numbers, they are basing their salary on the best case scenario where they will make the best comission each and every month. It never happens. Read my other posts as well as the site. Don't get sucked in, or you will be back on here in a few years depressed, overweight, and angry that you wasted so much time there.

1. you either drank the kool aid.
2. are a recruiter
3. are an area manager

no way you pull in 1200 after taxes as an mt not even with OT. that means you make over 31k after taxes. did you claim that you had 12 kids for taxes and your a vet of NAM?

However by some slim chance you dont bleed green or are a real employee at the MT level kudos to you for loving your job. See you in "I am ready to sue enterprise" forum in about 8 months.

Well it has been a few weeks now and I just made it through trainging. The pay is still good. I had one for $860 because I was in training. I am a true worker and have no plans of making this a career, but for my area it's a great job unless you are military or a teacher. So far I still have no complaints, I still have a life and my bills are all paind with money left over. The only downfall is yes I am gaining weight from all the fastfood, but I still get my hour lunches and they are forever buying us lunch. My manager told me her pay was about 7k when she got her raise. Others I know as well say the same, but they all tell me unless I plan on going into a different department to only plan only working 7years b/c by then I would have maxed out my chances for promotion and moving to another company with ERAC on my resume will look good. One of my boys got a great job after ERAC.

I am still being positive and will prob leave in about a year or whenever I get a job in my field, but so far all the stuff I hav heard negatively I have not experienced. I mean of course every job there is something negative, but we have fun and worth hard. I still can't complain. But if I find a reason to I will let you all know.
