I don't know too much about Derek's Dismissal but I think it was performance based. He was a good guy though.

Derek was let go basically because he "wasn't RVP material" from what the managers were told in a meeting. I think Adam thought he could run things himself, while saving some $$$ by not having an RRM for awhile.
As far as A9 goes, I heard the manager quit. Basically used ERAC to move her down to Raleigh then said see-ya. (That's awesome) Also, I heard their on-rent figure was around 125. Still about 40-50 too low but not as bad as 100.

Derek came down from Detroit thinking he was going to be the deal. Came with the attitude that anyone that didnt perform was not safe and that nothing was ever good enough. Funny how the tables got turned on him.

I heard he did not go quietly when they told him of his dismissal.
