absolutely...but it's a chance I'm willing to take. If the shit hits the fan and Admin has to pull ip addresses, it will be clear it's not me. I just enjoy the entertainment and I tend to learn something each time I read a new thread. I've also posted as unregistered when I want info on something or want to give info on something specific to me. That works great as well.

That's funny. I have done the same thing to see if people are talking about me. I saw one thread that included me but it was positive. Not sure if I stepped on any toes before I left but I don't think I did.

Oh, I didn't mean about my posts, I meant information specific to what division I'm in, I post that as unregistered and I've only done it twice.

People call me out in the thread if they disagree with what I'm saying in a post. No one knows who I am, so not worried about it, now if I saw a thread with my name on it, I'd shit...I'd have to read that one! I do feel like I have something to contribute to this site... if nothing else, at least to NOT call someone a douche bag to support my assertions.

To remain on topic for you slave... Bartimac sucks...I'm just kidding!!

I have no idea who that person is just wanted to make you laugh.

Well you did. He is a buddy of mine who works in NC. What is wrong with the term Douche Bag? I think it gets the point across just fine and to be honest is actually a great product (I guess I mean).

It's just that it's really offensive and feels like fighting words. Different insults have different levels of "power" in them, and this one just seems to scream out. Sure, it's not as bad as "the n-word" or "the c-word", but it's up there.

I understand, of course, that these interpretations may vary from one person to another and from region to region, but this one seems particularly likely to end a conversation and get you knocked out cold. "Scumbag" is almost as bad.

I'd be eager to hear other peoples' opinions on this; do you interprete these differently?

My definition of "douche bag" is more like "idiot that doen't know he's an idiot" like "tool".

NO, that's not my interpretation Admin. I find it funny. I'm not offended by it, it's hilarious that people pepper their arguments with "douche bag" and think it gets their point across more persuasively. That's why I said I wouldn't support my assertions with it, not because it's offensive...Because it adds no substance to the argument and it makes me laugh instead of taking the argument seriously. (which is needed sometimes, but weakens the argument in my opinion.)

Alright, I think I need to be less sensitive on this one. Thanks for the feedback.
