OK, I worked at 39 during the entire DD/GF era...I can honestly say that everyone is right - Damon was awful and Gary was not an effective manager operationally. Damon was so awful I had honestly forgotten about him until reading this thread. But his "letter" against Gary was unfounded and ridiculous. Their styles clashed - that was it. He wasn't the only area R employee writing letters when they left attacking GF and although we liked GF (I was very upet when he left) I am sure that we were much better off without both of them.

Also - Derek was put in a shitty position - putting ridiculous goals in front of GF knowing he couldn't meet them, letting him go and then getting let go himself...Ever since Adam S. got to EE other people have been taking the fall for his failures. "The Good Old Days" at EE will always be those of Dan Miller.

I left Enterprise 7 years ago I worked with Andy Stahl and Justin York in 53G4, and then AM in 5334 I have to say Justin was one fine dude..one of the nicest folks/managers one could have. Andy and I were Trainees at G4(Morehead City) and he was great back then..later he and I were assistants in Skip Williams OLD Area..before the split. Last i heard he was an Area Manager..last I saw him I was playing in a Golf Tourney sponsored by ERAC about 3 years ago. Say what you want...but it's the folks you work with that either make working a 9-10 hour day either great or shitty. My demise was taking an AM job in a dead end branch...when I got there no one had been promoted out in 4 years..should have seen the signs I guess. I worked at ERAC for 2 1/2 years..it's a good place to start out of college, but I can't recommend making a career out of it. Oh, by the way...worst manager in 53 ever....Russ London...total jerk..horrible people skills...

I have to agree with this post. Andy worked for me in Morehead City and he was a good guy, Justin was also one of the best people I ever worked with at erac. He would do whatever he could to help out.

Ok worst manager ever has to go to Daryl Schuler @ 5339. This guy is a real piece of work. Never had an employee who didnt cringe at the sound of his voice. Maybe the fact that he is a minority is the only reason he hasn't got canned. If I was a minority i'd probably still be on the erac plantation. This guy goes marketing stoned out of his mind and tries to F$#@& anything that breathes. He has that "im never wrong" mentality. I would call for a car and constantly argue w/ this scrub.His whole little clique are stoners, even the area managers. Wow can we say somebody needs to go to labcor

Yeah that guy is a total DICK. He humiliated me when I was a Branch Manager and I will never forgive that weasely little asshole.

I believe Derek Schafran works for Banfield (veterinary service at PetSmart) now.
