Skip Williams was the last City Manager in NC. He started the Greenville NC area as well as the Wilmington NC office. He was forced out about 6 years ago. He was making some serious bank, so they forced him out and split his area.

More like 300-400K if not more. Different time back then.

I have enjoyed reading all of the posts under this thread. I have been clean of the ERAC buzz for about 3 1/2 years. However, I have a list of GP53, Region EE managers who easily compete for this award

Gary Flemming - shiftlessly drove around from branch to branch, pawning off his responsibilities on his overworked staff and his scaretactics style of management (get the ESQI to 120% or else you're fired)

Dan Miller - whilst his managers were struggling to make ends meet, his morale booster was to flaunt his $10,000 watch and million dollar beach house

Derek Schafran - if you were having the worst day possible a phonecall or visit from Derek was certain to make it even worst

Skip Williams was not forced out, he got tired of the b*** s*** and left. Lot's of people did that after the whole Kirk Thurston mismanagement tour.

I'm not sure what this person was thinking, but Gary was a great manager. Dan Miller was Dan Miller and Derek Schafran was an ass, but Gary did a great job. I worked for him at 5339 and thought he was fair, knowledgable and genuinely a good person. I heard that he was forced out because he wouldnt suck on ADAM SCHNEIDER 'S little pecker like Matt Davis and company.
I laughed so hard the day that I heard that Derek got shitcanned, several months after they sent him to shove Gary out for no concrete reason.

I still nominate Garrett Flemming as the worst manager. I developed a life-long hatred for him after only a few months of him being my Area Manager. It was such a joy to sit and watch him read my stabbing resignation letter, highlighting his inefficiencies. Even more enlightening was at the bottom of the letter when he realized that everyone in the chain up to St. Louis received a copy.

ERAC was one of those unwanted stops while I waited for the airline industry to return. However, the combination of my friend (the Branch Manager) leaving the company and the ASSHOLE duo of Garrett/Derek forced my departure alot sooner than I expected. But I thank them for helping me to reach freedom!!!!

I don't know about the worst, but Papa Blake in MM was by far the best!!!! Does anyone know what he is doing now?
