Default Best/Worst GP54 moments

Here's a new thread. Post any story you want about about your best or worst day working at GP54. Here is a personal favorite of mine. I was a young buck over at 5422. At that particular moment, I was the only person at the branch. Anyone who remembers 22 in 99/2000 knows it was a VERY large branch. 200-300 cars I think. I think the manager was Todd Fischer or Jenny Stahl?? (I think it was Todd at that time) So I’ve got the typical 4 deep customer phalanx in front of me. The last guy in line is this withered, beaten looking, 70 year old man. He is just standing there closing his eyes for prolonged periods of time swaying back and forth. For those unfamiliar, 5422 was a single wide mobile home on a Chevy Dealership. It had a crapper to the immediate right when you entered through the main door. I get through helping the first two customers and begin with the third guy when I look up and see the old timer lean back against the bathroom door. Not a good move. The door wasn’t shut all the way and all I see is this guy flailing backwards into the bathroom, knocking his head into the can full force. Guy had a pretty bad head wound that was bleeding pretty badly all over the bathroom floor. Ambulances showed up, they hauled the guy out on a stretcher, half of admin showed up taking pictures and filing reports. Happy times!

You like it when an old dude falls and cuts his head open? You laugh about that but yet you still back Jill. On second thought, that makes perfect sense. You are both demented fucks.

Actually, I think possession of that branch went Jenny Stahl, Brad Carpenter, Todd Fiscer, and then I think they put Ray Stahl over there, demoting him from being at the airport. That branch was the epitome of ERAC hell and actually made me open my eyes about that company. I remember Brad was trying to impress me and some of the other new hires and he told us that he was making over $50K as the manager of that branch, which means it was really closer to $45K. He was actually proud of this fact and thought it was quite an accomplishment for a 30 year old guy to be making that kind of money. All I remember thinking was, "Wow, this guy is managing one of the 3 largest branches in town and is putting up with all kinds of crap as a result and that is all that he makes?" That was when I knew I needed to find another job....fast.

Just how many hours did he clock in to make over $50K?

As a rule of thumb, when an E-CHIMP starts to talk money and compensation, one must simply deduct a minimum 35% off their claims and you will arrive at a much more accurate number as to what they are really bringing in.
