| I used to work at ERAC many years ago (1996) in Las Vegas. Frank Kish was my BM and I worked with Brad Carpenter and Jeff Wale. I haven't seen these guys in years, but I would say when I knew them they were good people. I read alot of the complaints here and while I am sure some are valid, no workplace is perfect. ERAC doesn't B.S. about the hours you have to work, I remember full well Frank telling me that up front. A 50 hour minimum is was what I agreed to. Now as far as scumbag personalities, ERAC has got them no doubt about it. BUT ALL COMPANIES HAVE SCUMBAGS IN THEM! I think what really makes people bitter about ERAC is a deadly cocktail of long hours, pain in the ass customers, unstimulating repetition, and relatively low pay. Folks, the rental car business is a tough one when you are behind the counter. It is certainly not for everyone. Again, I am not disputing anyone's claims on this site. I just wanted to put in my 2 and a half cents. (By the way, many former ERACer's in Las Vegas have gone on to HERTZ and Country Insurance) |

| Hey, it was Kelly Mcnamara from 25/2V. She became an area manager. I remember she sucked so bad, that Putterman made her drive an Aveo for a company car. Anyway she went on to be group operations manager-putting up new branch offices. As for the previous post, I am sure working in ERAC back 10 years ago was probably a better company when there was only 5 rental offices in Las Vegas back in 1995. There's over 40 now. And, yes they told you about the hours and washing the cars. What they didn't tell you that you wouldn't get Mgt support in any situation unless you were one of their drinking buddies, attended every happy hour, were a leadership giver to United Way (total scam), and kissed their ass. |

| Now that carpenter has been brought up here's a funny fact. Brad was an area manager when I worked in Vegas. He has been with the company over 11 years, and must have posted 10 times for promotion to GRM. Marion Townes has been with the company for 4 years starting as an intern. Now both work in remarketing and I believe Marion is senior to Brad having taken a position there 1st. I will say that Marion Rocks! Very levelheaded girl who doesn't buy into all the ECRAP but is still moving forward. As for Brad. Completely green, spouts all the ECRAP propaganda. I think this is justice and for Brad well it can't feel good to have a person who started as an intern in your area move forward and end up being your senior. OUCHHHHH. |

| Brad was a total dork. I completely forgot about him going to Remarketing!! Now if only something would be done about that idiot Erik Leverson. I remember when Jim Strack was the Rental Mgr. and Erik was just a branch manager. Strack had all of his AM's clock whenever Erik left the office without Erik knowing. Apparently he had a habit of leaving the office for 4 hours at a time and no one could find him. I couldn't believe they promoted him to an Area Mgr. position in Reno! Then I heard that his employees and mgrs. couldn't find him half the time. He was never in his office. Last I heard they moved him to AM of the airport so they could LoJack him and track his whereabouts to see if he actually shows up for work. I heard he is not performing. He must actually be putting in time and doesn't remember how to run a branch. |

| Leverson is a fuckingtool (one word created just for him). I know several of his employees from when he was a branch manager, and they called him the absentee manager. He would consistently "go marketing" but everone knew he was leaving to go home, golf, etc. The only reason he got promoted was Strack left and was replaced by GRM's that didn't know Eriks track record. He always played favorites. His pets follow him like desparate puppies because they know if they don't they will get fucked over too. He fucked good managers over, if they didn't bow to him, to the point they wanted to leave. I know for a fact one manager, who to my embarassment I once thought was Erik's pet, left because when he posted for an ARM position Erik did something to fuck him over, guy up and transferred to another group. This guy always had the numbers, ESQi and all. He went to every IPC dinner I can remember then one day poof, gone. I bet that didn't look good on Erik's stats although I guarantee he warped it to his own benefit and lied about why the guy left. So if he is at Reno airport what happened to the old ARM, Mark I think. |
