[quote=Unregistered]That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard- who the hell contacted you? And did you happen to tell them that :

a) Group 42 is in Florida, a right to work state /not very condusive to unions

and

b.) You're really only sopose to be an MT for 8 months.

Suck it up, get yourself promoted- if you still hate ERAC down the road beat them at their own "burn and turn" game and use the expierence to find a "better job"

What you says about state Fl is true but the UAW can still organize even in a state like FL or AL for that matter. Sounds like you have drink way to much of the green "kool-aid". This deal will happen and it will cost the company. Besides if the company does nothing wrong in relations to labor what do they fear? Or could it be the reason people leave everyday and the company has one the highest turnover ratios in corp American is because of their LACK of corp values!

So, can MAs be organized?

Can't ERAC just promote a bunch of folks to Asst to avoid this?

I'm all for unions, but it just seems like ERAC will find something crooked to do to avoid this.

There will always be MT's and MA's--ERAC cannot do without---If the UAW is not successful it might drive up the base salary for MTs or MAs to remove the hourly wage. This is still a win for the folks on the front lines each day.

GO UAW! stop unfair labor!

Just a note to those who do not believe

I work in GP55 and the UAW rep is meeting with us on 1/16/06 in Huntsville. The rep said the meeting would last about a hour and would be centered around organizing MT's and MA's. The meeting is at 7:30pm at the Huntsville Mariott off I-565.

NOW DO YOU BELIEVE!
