Default Funny Accounting

Anyone have info on why David Keeney was fired in Montgomery? I think I already know, but I'm looking for details.

I know when he worked in Troy he was shady as hell. He floated his bad debt the whole time he was there. He used to send cars out for weekend rentals with hand-written contracts. Only problem was that they weren't entered into ECARS. When the customer returned they would pay cash and he would apply the money to his A/R. Pretty good plan...keep the mileage low because it's a weekend rental and pay down what would be bad debt. The whole area knew about it. He was "good friends" with Billy Lee. Old Billy's as shady as they come.

I wish Billy would stop killing us with his cologne, too. What is that, Brut?

He would float his bad debt by applying money from current cash renters to previous renters who didn't pay at all. Once you get stuck in that cycle it must be tough to finally break free and pay off everything in 60-90days. I wonder if that's what he got caught doing in Montgomery. What a p.o.s.

What's really shady is "just sliding PAI in without them even noticing." "After all, it's only 3 bucks."

Real nice Group 55.
