I met a transfer in GP43 that told me Chris Waller didn't do anything for his employees. No kind of congratulations, or happy hours or nothing. Just a big paycheck for him and to hell with everybody else! Selfish son of a bitch!

There is a lot of hard work, unforgiving customers, double dealing co-workers, lower pay, and high expectations that are involved with working for this company. I do not, however, feel that someone should come onto a website, cloaked in anonymity, and call someone a racist simply because that person couldn't manage their store. Chris Waller is human, he makes mistakes. Same as anyone else out there. You've made mistakes, I've made mistakes, we all have. But I don't believe that he is a bad guy. I don't think that he screws his employees, or that he doesn't care, or that he hangs people out to dry. And though it is true that a lot of people leave because of the bullshit, a lot more leave because they really don't have what it takes to be a leader. They can sell until the day they die, but just just can not manage another person. So they make it to Assistant, or Branch manager, and when their store's performance is what they are graded on, instead of their individual perfomance, they simply fall short. And ERAC, and the Bullshit, and the customers are always who they place the blame on, because they simply can't look in the mirror and realize that they just don't have the organization, structure, or attitude to be responsible for the perfomance of other people.
How do you explain the people who leave when they become Area/City Managers, RRM's, GRM's, RVP's? You cannot motivate people who don't want to be motivated, and I can tell you personally, when you get the bottom dwellers of the area, your branch will not succeed! Is this the branch manager's fault because his bosses will not give him/her the proper tools to make him/her successful? I think you need to take off your green colored glasses, and look in the mirror!

What "proper tools" were you deprived of?

World's biggest prick!! I was in Area 4 when he first came there......sure we had a bad ARM before him but at least he wasn't a power hungry bastard that sells out people and shows favoritism to girls that he thought looked good in a shirt. This PERV to pictures of a young lady a couple of Holloweens ago wearing a short skirt then made her go home change after he had his fun. Loser of a MAN!!!! He probably doesn't get any at home, wife probably screwing someone else! I heard it's still bad in Area 4........I feel sorry for those employees....I advise going to another region, but staying in GP55.....He has been my only bad experience while I've worked at ERAC. He probably participates on this discussion board to see what people think of him....EGO MANIAC!

Under-achieving employees, no support from other branches in area, no support from Area Manager, I could go on forever, but you get the idea.

Hello everyone,

Every now and then I check out these threads for shits and giggles. I used to work at ERAC. Waller hired me. I left the company after a year to pursue other things. Frankly, I like Chris. Sure he has high expectations-IT'S HIS JOB!
I liked everyone I worked with, however I really liked the people who didn't piss and moan all the time about their job- not only is it depressing, it makes the job that much harder. Of course you are going to have your bad days, and of course the pay is rotten for the MT's, MA's, and AM's, and of course you work long hours that leave you feeling spent at the end of the day. However, I was fully aware of this when Chris meticulously explained these issues to me during my interview. All of you who clearly spend too much time on this site complaining about your plight with ERAC need to realize something- there is nobody holding a gun to your head, forcing you to stay at ERAC. You're not in the army. Do yourselves a favor and get new jobs. If your reply to the previous sentence was, "There aren't any jobs out there!," or "I don't have time to look for another job," well my friend - you are truly a miserable pussy. Do your best to find some good in your job or grow a pair and get a new one.

I can't wait for people to say "you must have sucked, or couldn't hack it" for the reasons why YOU left.

Let them. Chances are I'm richer, happier and more relaxed knowing that I'm not going to have to wash or reposess a car today after some scum bag has his/her way with it. However, I am bummed about missing out on the Christmas parties.
