I can name a couple of good and some terrible ones. Chris Waller is by far the Worst!!!! Never work for that back stabbing bastard! Rivel Land in Birmingham gives it to you stright. He's a good City Manager.

Ravel Land isn't even close to a being considered a good manager. All that guy cares about is how fat his wallet gets. Anyone who cuts hours of employees to get his numbers so he gets a bigger commisision check is and A$$. He would make managers send people home once they got to 40hrs. in a week so that he wouldn't have to pay his MT/MA's overtime. This didn't last too long because the managers stopped following the order because they were too shorthanded. That really made everyone want to work hard knowing that our checks would be even smaller than they usually were.

I can't believe that anyone would ever consider Rovoyl Land a good manager. He is single-handedly destroying Birmingham. If he's not fired soon, the only employees left will be the ones who can't get a job anywhere else.

Roval Land? Gives it to you straight???? Yeah, straight up the a**! He has ruined several lives in the company, and is making several others miserable. I know that the post was for the "best" area/city managers, but when I see a reply about Roval in a positive light, this tells me that a MT/MA that has not had to answer to him, nor worked directly for him posted that. How can someone be failing in ALL core areas of our business still be employed? This guy is ignoring the fact Hertz is in the market BIG TIME and chomping away at everything. He needs to wake up and understand he is ruining lives other than just his area, M1. I was at a meeting with him were Deron was present. I do not know Deron, but you could tell there is bad blood there. He is running Birmingham in the ground. Hoover has not been this low in fleet in over 3 years. I checked. Southside is about to be below 100 cars, and downtown is not to far behind. Homewood, well, it is the same story. Since Chuck is not going to fire him, Roval needs to wake up to what is going on and stop with the excuses. It has gotten to the point for the first time, perception is NOT reality. The perception he wants to give is everything is great, when in fact, it is the worst it has been in a long time. Our net is 8X's what OP is, but if the city does not do something soon, there will not be many cars left to sell. Roval Land needs to be standing in line at the unemployement office with the other people he has stuck it too.

Is Danforth still the ARM in Fort Walton Beach? He'll probably have a hard time getting promoted out of there, because he isn't a back-stabbing, S.O.B.
