Are there any past or present GP 56 people on here. I just quit from 56w1 last month. I had worked in 5606,0E,71,04.

I work in group 56. I actually just started working in the Truck division a little while back. What are your thoughts on working in Truck rental? Have you found a better job yet? I have been really concentrating on my job hunting lately. It can be challenging when you have limited time.

i have worked in rent-a-car and am currently hugely successful in another division. i have never worked in truck rental but have known your Group Manager Paul P. for years and you will not find a better boss and person to work for. Paul p. is one the most honest and hard working people I know. He is a great success story and I guarantee if you work hard you will be rewarded. You mentioned you have been job searching quite a bit lately. My only question to you is how successful do you expect to be if you are not 100% committed to your current job. If you are not happy then go do something that makes you happy. Good Luck. C

Well, I have to disagree with you on Paul P. If there's not a better person to work for, why is his retention shit? He might be a hard worker but he is an idiot or an asshole (I never could figure out which). My guess is that you are Paul or you are someone at admin monitoring this site. Get a life.

As for the guy that just started truck rental, what office do you work in? And you should definitely find another job asap. Even if you kiss Paul and Matt's ass and get promoted to Asst. Mgr. or BRM, it is only a matter of time before they will find a reason to demote (not fire, because they are too big of pussies to fire anyone) you to remarketing or car sales. Ask one of your managers (that's honest and doesn't bleed green) about Eric, Brad, Steve, David and many others just in the last calender year. So fuck Matt, fuck Paul, fuck 56PP, your cool, and Fuck5699!

I think Paul is a great guy and I couldn't ask for a better group manager. I enjoy truck rental way more than car rental. I give the job 100% everyday. I get along with all the guys in truck rental except my extremely lazy Assistant Manager. I just can't stand people who are lazy and unproductive. I don't understand how someone can be in the office all damn day and not get a thing done. Anyhow, I realize that I will eventually get promoted and make more money. But I am not going to limit myself, If I find a better job with better pay & hours, I will take it in a heartbeat. And even after that, I will still be looking for a job with even better pay. It's not like I am bitter towards my job or the company. I am just looking out for #1.

Paul was almost fired years ago cause he took off in the middle of the day to go home and mow his lawn.

I would have to disagree with you (fuck99) about trucks. Paul P works very hard and is a great boss. There is so much opportunity in trucks to grow and get promoted. It does take hard work and it sound like you didn't have what it takes.

Go to Car Sales!!! That is the place to make $$$ ... yeah right..

In Summary is any position at ERAC decently paid and with normal hours??
