I saw the light 5 years ago and left E, and when I told Mark he was pissed. However, I six month later on my birthday guess who called me. As he did every year for the prior 5 years it was Mark. I think any negative responses to Mark can only be from people that don't know him, or haven't had the chance to work for him. Because since that call, he was the only friend willing to help me when I went through my divorce. I called him at 3:00 am one morning, and he actually came to my house to hang out, as I was in a very bad place. Again this all happened when I wasn't even with E. He is one of the GOOD guys at E. I plan on contacting and e-mailing any and all e employees I can to defend him on this post. I respected him when I was an employee, and respect him even more now that I'm not.

mark will do anything for anybody. if you scratch his back he will scratch yours. simple as that. he cares about people and goes above and beyond for people but he also protects the best interest of enterprise as well and that is where people get pissed at him because he makes business decisions that people disagree with and get pissed but on a personal level he will do anything for you.

I left after I got screwed out of the ARM job in Lancaster. But, when Cory called me to defend Mark, I'll do that. One time when an employees baby died just after being born, Mark and Tom Walling paid for the funeral expenses. I don't know of many people that would do that. If you ever worked with Mark you would know he is one of the good guys, and I ain't getting in the way of that karma. Shit, from what I heard Cory called more than 10 ex-ERAC'ers and they all still talk to Mark. I don't think he cares if you are with ERAC or not, he will always be a mentor. Steve little where are you??
