Glen Forbes was made area mgr in Harrisburg. From group trainer to arm. As much as Glen is a nice person no offense to Glen but how thin is the talent pool? They had to pull a group trainer out of his position back into rental because no one in the group is prepared. Pretty scary stuff for the group's talent level and employee development. What's next? Maybe pulling admin staff to fill trainee positions.

This recent promotion has made clear the complete and utter hypocrisy of the promotion process in this company. Glen definelty knows the logistics of this company in and out, yet I am still extremely confused on this promotion. The last time the man rented a car he may have upgraded a person from their shiny yugo into a new iroc. I am from the school of thought that "talk is cheap" and for one who hasnt proved himself in the last decade on paper (which is so highly regarded for promotion), how does this happen? To obtain such an important position surely shows he had a "grip" on the powers that be. The talent pool is definetly not thin. Either they are cutting back on training costs or Glen really struck a chord with someone. Will someone please dot the i's and cross the t's for me.

Rob Loosli should be the new AREA MGR for Harrisburg. The guy hands down is the most prepared individual I have ever seen. Thank god there is one in captivity. Can somebody please make sure this endangered species does not get away and promote him already?

| Well let me do something I never though I would do. Defend ERAC. Glen Forbes knows everything about ERAC. Don't kid yourself, he has forgotten more than any of us knew. If I was still with the group I would want to work for him. He is one of the only people who ever gives a shit about any of us. Doubt me? Ever needed something from Admin? couldn't get it done? Did ya ask glen? He gets it done. I think admin made a mistake in taking him away from there. Do any of you remember training before Glen got there? It was a joke, I know, I went through it. Glen sticks up for the MTs when no one in the company does, and he trains them so who better to have as a ARM (as a new trainee) than him. Quote:

Please Glen Forbes was a branch manager for a few months and then got smart/lucky with his BS training position. The guy is a joke--not area manager material and everyone knows that--I think they may have set him up to get rid of him--he has no future there and I can see him being fired. Dazzle--please you should put your head in the sand for shame---I think your the only Assistant to be demoted back down to Managers Assistant in the history of Enterprise. Also, I find it very interesting to hear "gold" boy Kevin Rowe got the boot. That guy could do no wrong in there eyes and made it to area manager in record time. I think "BEKKA" was threating to a sexual harrasment suit and Enterprise knew they were in a hard position so they had no choice to get ride of him. However, "BEKKA" was also banging former group rental manager that everyone knew about and nothing happen with that---so Golden boy did something more to have them fire him. Maybe--all the huge turnover in his city???? Or maybe it was racist---he was a white boy wishing he was black---ok I am joking about that.

Glen could do well. I mean he was the group trainer. He always actually cared about people, willing to lend a helping hand and obviously he can train. Gaining respect from his employees/managers and marketing to these unruly accounts probably will be his challenge. But who knows. Does anybody have a better selection from inside the group? Obviously there is a bigger picture to this selection then can be seen from the outside looking in. Also it never hurts to get a fresh start as an employee.
