| 1. Our brand is the most valuable thing we own.....Just like "Edsel" and "New Coke" were valuable brands.... 2. Personal honesty and integrity are the foundation of our success (But that doesn't include holding contracts open, hiding cars, stealing deals, or any of the other shady things some do to get ahead at the big "E." 3. Customer service is our way of life. And, yes, a Sentra is a mid size car, and honest, your minivan you had reserved came back damaged. Also, you don't NEED pack, but here's why you should WANT it.... 4. Enterprise is a fun and friendly place, where teamwork rules.(except if you have 10 deals in the next hour, but the numb nut manager closest to you won't help with any of their 8 cars because they have 8 reservations for the REST OF THE DAY!) 5. We work hard and reward hard work. That is, if you make sure you kiss up to the right fools and stay in good with at least 2 levels above you. And no one has ever gotten ahead at Enterprise by sleeping around. That's never happened.... 6. Great things happen when we listen....to our customers and to each other....like when a dealership says "I am not paying more than $X per day for rentals" and a level 3, under pressure for growth, says "Thank you, may I have another!" (But hey, $18 per day is great for a car...in 1986) 7. We strenghten our communities, neighborhood by neighborhood. As long as there is a photographer and reporter to put it in the local paper, that is! 8. Our doors are open (after we show you the door...) Anybody out there have their own take on the core values? |

| Get over what? The company talks one game and does completely the opposite in the day to day!!! The average age of erac rental people is low twenties? WHY? If they only promote from within, shouldn't there be a lot more people in management that are in their thirties, forties? Fifties? hhhhhhhhhhhmnnnnnnnnn. Isn't that a gigantic red flag??????????? No one in their right mind (who knew better....hence older and wiser) would stay and put up with this bullshit. They realize this company is a joke and quit long before the rest of us realize it is brighter on the other side. This is why they primarily recruit college grads now. History has proven anyone with experience who has half a brain knows this company is horrible soon after being hired, and quits. Therefore, Erac now avoids hiring them in the first place. They target colleges because we are desperate for jobs, and don't have the experience to know their are FAR FAR FAR better jobs out there. Ask KD! That man worked his ass off to get where he was as an Area Manager of one of the biggest areas, he was one of the few that endured it long enough to finally make the money erac claims as the dream and jams down our throats.....then, erac fires him because he made too much money and could be replaced by two others and still save money.....Here we GROW again people....opportunities galore! Off to Career day the recruiters go to feed the machine! Erac is notorious for brainwashing the young trainees into the ole' "we do the right things for the right reasons....blah blah blah. Make no mistake, they will cut your throat whenever it is cost effective to do so. The values are worthless, they print them and distribute them to employees to try and reduce their own liability because they realize the corrupt actions most branches have to take on a dailiy basis in order to compete with one another and rank higher on their own matrix's. QUOTE OF THE DAY: As a trainee, you are VALUABLE to ERAC because you are CHEAP! Look around....think about it! |
