what erac employees need to know before starting when you start you will be told about the great opportunities and so forth. when you get into mgmt which is not easy, well it is now because everybody quits including managers in the bunches. anyway when you get into mgmt you will be rewarded with a pay plan, goals, bonuses, comm % off the branch. it all sounds great. when you get your comm % it is based off the year before which can be dangerous and may yield you shitty commissions in most cases. your pay is based off net profit which consists of operating profit and resold cars. the part that is shaky is the resold cars . if they flood the market and have a high net profit year because of the resold cars. the next year you will have to make this up in operating profit which is near impossible today. rent has gone up, rates stay the same and they pay employees more not a ton but more. cars cost more and so forth. profits have dwindled and will not get better. so when you get your promotion and everything sounds great, BEWARE of the fine print and do your homework. this will go on and you are stuck until you get another promotion or you quit.Take my word for it there is no money in this company for 90% of the employees. run! run! run! |
