I posted as Unregistered12 a few minutes ago. Now I come back (after breakfast on this beautiful sat. morning), and there are some Type 3's coming out of the woodwork. Where are all you positive non-bitter ex-employees when we Type 4's need you most? LOL - thanks everyone for your contributions. Admin, please step in and stop these people. It's getting to "touchy-feely" up in here.

[quote=Unregistered12] Type 3 is so rare because they are too busy succeeding in life to post on here. QUOTE] You must go back and read your own post, 12. That's why there are so few non-bitter ex-E's on here, they don't have time for this soap opera on a daily basis, so they stop by and read every once in a while. Not sure why they are appearing all of a sudden. On a completely separate point, notice all the people who will call a level 3 materialistic in one post, and then you look back through past posts and one of the common themes is "i have a better job (glad you are happy with it), work less hours (possible translation: lazy), and make more money (oh, so are you the pot or the kettle? Does your pay increase allow you to now step up your standard of living a little bit?). So..people who are doing well financially at ERAC are...losers with no chance at a better job. People who leave ERAC and do well financially are....successful. Wait, no, that can't be it. The guy who was on here catching up with his buddies is supposedly doing well, but he got ripped too. Typical

can we keep this section on gp 62? i think most of the last 8 posts were from "outsiders"! as a 'type 1', i'd prefer to be able to whine and moan in anonymous peace once again about my former gp62 struggle. being the highlighted thread is only bringing unwanted attention to our little haven. you all have your own sections, and if you don't, please get the administrator to create one for you. i know i just exacerbated the situation by keeping this thread at the forefront, but help me out. all in good fun.

Last summer we had an ERAC party of former 625 employees. About 20 people showed up: No ERAC bashing, just talked about the good times. It was a very good time. I hope we make it a tradition that grows. Clarkie set that one up! Any other good memories out there?

I believe this thread mentioned "Brad Deal" on line one of it. He got involved and there is where we have taken it. You are probably better suited to post on: 1. Worst Job Ever 2. Ha HA ERAC Monkeys 3. Managers Pay totally bullshit have fun

Too many good memories to count on all my fingers and toes in the Heartland - great times, great people. Holiday parties with Phil (the Pussy Control thing was truly hilarious - totally remember that). Remember back when only the GRM's were married? Everyone else was crazy and single - it was like extended college!

You must have been old school - when were you with the Heartland - like 1995? Which GRM's were there - Hampton? Marty? Hubbs - oh he was actually a city manager. I wonder what Hambone and Marty are doing nowadays?! |
| |||
OK, I don't know most of these "old school" people personally, the ones i do are only in legend. Never knew Phil, Hampton, Marty, Hubbs, etc. Do we need to break down the GP62 postings to "era's"? We could have Oct 1992 (from my RSET) to Dec 1995 Jan 1996-Dec 2000 and Jan 2001 - Present We could even break it down further. As a 2003 hire and 2004 parolee from Heartland, I need to commiserate with people of my own era, not all these oldsters that are probably retired by now.

I have heard that Hampton owns a group of the "Mailbox etc.'s".... something like that. He was the best.... the spittle in the corner of the mouth, red swath watch, and to watch him getting mad is one of the funniest memories I have.
