So why not get a FMLA protected leave and come back to a L3 position?

because you know those asses in 62 would have never allowed him to do that. they would have found some way to fuck him over. Sad to hear about a family issue.

I heard the reason he had to take an MA position was because 62 wouldn't back him in the transfer. Numbers or not...if you have a family emergency they should back your move. Steve is a wolf in sheep's clothing. He pretends to care, but now that his ass is on the hot seat...it's every man for himself. That is why deep down he really likes people like TJ and Guz...it's all about looking good, not being good.

If he isn't he should be. But that is the rumor. He is certainly acting like it. Panic has set in...soon what is left of his reputation will be gone. Corp will hang him out to dry...then he will "retire", or take some lame post in St Louis.

I feel so badly for him. I'm crying in my beer right now!

I heard Steve T did back him and he went down as BM. Still dumb though.

Hey All,

This is Noah. One of my friends from GP62 called me today to let me know I was on this site so I had to check it out. Not that it matters but I can't help but try to set the story straight.

Thanks for the condolences but my Dad's healthier than I am and living outside of Chicago. My wife and I did decide to move down to Corpus Christi for family reasons but everyone's happy and healthy. The real reasons I moved down here have nothing to do with health or Enterprise but are too long to elaborate on so I won't waste your time.

The last person that posted was the only one that had it even close to right. I asked for a transfer when there wasn't an Area Manager spot open down here. Both GP62 and GP52 (South Texas) could have easily forced me to take a demotion all the way to MA and I would have accepted however Steve Thomas stood up for me and convinced my current GM to invent a position down here of co-manager even though there wasn't a manager spot open in order to ease the transition and help my paycheck.

So in spite of what you read on here Steve and Shawn are both good people and great mentors. I am and will always be indebted to both of them for everything they ever taught me and did for me. Unlike most on this site I had the opportunity to work closely with both of them over the last two years and I can tell you they are both men of impeccable character who care very deeply about their employees. I suppose the more people you manage the more enemies you are bound to make. Sorry to not join in the bashing but this company has been like a family to me.

Thanks for your time,
Noah

Noah,

That's awesome! We are all glad your dad is well and your family is healthy.
Good for you. Good luck in TX.

Sounds like you should look Clarkie up. I think she lives down there.

Good for Noah. I always liked it when I was working on my own on a Saturday if he was the level 3 on duty. I knew that if there was a problem, there was someone who would help.

Nice job Noah, I know it won't be long until yoyr are back to area manager.
