Shout out to Noah, if you ever look this up again. Glad to hear everything is well. I agree with you on Shawn being a great mentor. When I transfered to Group 12 Shawn, Maria and Kara were wonderful mentors on easing me into a new group.

Unfortunatly I didn't get to see the otherside so many speak of on this site. Maybe I'm foggy eyed but I still think all of my fellow 62 employees were fabulous and were like a family. That's what I get for staying out of the politics and gossip.

I officially left ERAC this month. Took a manager position at a country club in CO. Loving every minute of it. After I discovered that ERAC was Black & White from 62 to 12. Here they work employees to the bone, pull you in the office and yell at you saying things like "Your a discrase to ERAC, Callbacks and yourself. You'll never amount to anything in this department and everyone will surpass you. You will never take the grill and we are freezing your overtime in branches. You need to work on your communication not just professionally but personally as well" News flash, it's really tough making it in CO on $1600 a month income and had the most active life outside work (I.E. sports and clubs for alumni) in our whole department!!!! Oh well, I'm happier now and I won't rant on about Group 12 politics since no one would know whom I'm speaking about.

Take Care my beloved Group 62 : )

You sound like a real pussy. If you were mentored so well, why weren't you able to make a difference in your new group?

what a ridiculous comment. and you would never have the courage to say it to that person's face, so you come on here and think of something degrading to say to get a few cheap laughs. typical...

and another cowardly comment from the peanut gallery...what a shame that so many former GP62ers are such losers that they have nothing better to do than to make comments like this.

This is Noah. One of my friends from GP62 called me today to let me know I was on this site so I had to check it out. Not that it matters but I can't help but try to set the story straight.

Thanks for the condolences but my Dad's healthier than I am and living outside of Chicago. My wife and I did decide to move down to Corpus Christi for family reasons but everyone's happy and healthy. The real reasons I moved down here have nothing to do with health or Enterprise but are too long to elaborate on so I won't waste your time.

The last person that posted was the only one that had it even close to right. I asked for a transfer when there wasn't an Area Manager spot open down here. Both GP62 and GP52 (South Texas) could have easily forced me to take a demotion all the way to MA and I would have accepted however Steve Thomas stood up for me and convinced my current GM to invent a position down here of co-manager even though there wasn't a manager spot open in order to ease the transition and help my paycheck.

So in spite of what you read on here Steve and Shawn are both good people and great mentors. I am and will always be indebted to both of them for everything they ever taught me and did for me. Unlike most on this site I had the opportunity to work closely with both of them over the last two years and I can tell you they are both men of impeccable character who care very deeply about their employees. I suppose the more people you manage the more enemies you are bound to make. Sorry to not join in the bashing but this company has been like a family to me.

Thanks for your time,
Noah
I hope that you do not work in Corpus Christi. You sound like a respectable fella. Corpus Christi ERAC is shady, nasty, and will ruin your marriage. Trust me---get out while you can!
