who is bettter off now that they have left enterprise it feels mighty good to have gotten the hell out of there and no longer have to put up with shit for 8.50 an hour. It is also nice working at a place where we have the product or customers want. Our customers do not come to us and expressing an interest in buying our product only to be told we sold it to someone else but we will get you some as soon as it is in. It is also nice knowing you did not ruin someone's day or worse their vacation because you decided that one corporate account or dealership was more important than some joe schmo who reserved a car with your branch. It is also great not having to hard sell upgrades and protection packages to people until they are about ready to punch you. It's also nice not having to go kiss ass at some dealership or insurance office and dump donuts and lunches on them for a year and still not get their business and have them stare at you like you are an idiot every time you try to woo them with treats. It is also nice not having to go to enterprise sanctioned booze and sexual harassment fests and not having your boss call you a pussy because you don't want to down copius amounts of shots knowing you have to work the next day. It is also nice not ruining your clothes washing some car that looks like it had been through a war zone. Nothing was more fun then throwing out pants and shirts and shoes that got destroyed only after about a week of wear. To sum up, I learned alot of important things at enterprise. Working for people sucks. They shit on you as much as they can till you quit. That is why I feel so much better now that I am self-employed and making four times what I did at that place and only having to answer to myself. There are so many other oppurtunities out there if people would just look. Enterprise preys on the weak. They love getting young college kids excited about coming to work for them only to pay them the smallest amount possible. They try and fill you up with all sorts of intangible things like their fraternity like atomosphere and booze fests to make you feel like you are still in school. You will quickly learn that you must grow up and get the hell out of there if you are ever going to make more money and have a much more enriched life. Bottom line is don't trust enterprise with your future. |
