| The sargent just elevated himself over "dropalunchrep" as the biggest douche bag in this thread. Sargent you are a tool, and you don't fool anyone (even with your evident low IQ) that you are a BRM. If you are, why don't you mention something that shows you are even an ECRAP employee. I don't know anyone in their right mind that would try to convince other that they are a BRM of ECRAP. I was one, hence I'm working under an alias, it is not a flattering position. Speaing of positions, I had your mom in a nice one last night. |

| I'm a former level III and a current Pharma Rep so I think I'm in a good position to answer this guy. I love my job as a Rep and yes, I do make great money doing it but I loved my old job at Enterprise too. I work for one of the most difficult pharma companies to get hired onto in the industry and I haven't met a single rep or manager who has, or needs an MBA. Why on Earth would you spend your time and money on a degree that has no bearing on your success as salesman? That's one of the many reasons I'm calling bullshit on this guy. I can tell you first hand that the Rep job is a thousand times easier and requires far less business savy than does working at Enterprise. Furthermore, I was amazed at how well respected Enterprise employees are among other sales professionals from every industry. If Enterprise creates successful people or just exposes their predisposed talents is possibly debatable. What isn't debatable is that if you have success at ERAC you will be successful anywhere. P.S. Although I'm not complaining, being a rep requires only slightly more skill than a new hire dropping doughnuts. |

Second off, getting an MBA educates a person to be better than a salesman. It allows you to go places where a normal salesman cannot go. If you get an MBA from a credible source (ie, Northwestern, Wharton, U-Chicago, Harvard, U-Michigan, etc.) then you allow yourself extra freedom when it comes to that point where you don't want to be a salesman anymore. The person who is content and does not want to better themselves should not get an MBA because he/she will stay a salesman for their career. Let's see....60% of all CEO's have MBA's. The other 40% have been grandfathered in as CEO's. Even Andy Taylor has an MBA even though he walked into the position of CEO. So, if you want to advance your career you should get an MBA from a credible institution. If you don't want to advance your career, then don't get an MBA and stay a salesman. Good luck with that burnout cycle. I almost didn't respond to this idiotic message because it really doesn't deserve a common sense rebuttal. Please, think before you write down nonsense. |

Where is this guy? Is he/she too full of bull to respond? Or, is it because his arguments hold no water. Trust me, think before you write. Later loser!! |

| The pharm Rep character is the funniest person on this board. Hey buddy, you talk a bunch of shit and get yourself all rowdy!!!!You need to quit jerking off looking in the mirror. If you were truly successful, you wouldn't need to speak so much bullshit on a discussion board. I think I know your problem, you were made fun of so much at Enterprise that you quit now you seem to grow balls "only behind the computer," and talk a buch of Bull shit that makes you feel better. Who cares if you went to grad school...I don't think anyone on here does. Get friends, take some of your Rx pills, and quit lying to yourself about your so called perfect life. You probably live at home with your mom and the only friend you have is your dog. |
