Default ERAC Defenders

Anyone who defends this stupid company is a brainwashed imbicile. People say they learned all their sales, business, marketing skills from ERAC??!! God, please help us all. I worked for ERAC for 2 years, got out of that crap and got an MBA from a top 5 school and now making 6 figures and you are trying to tell me you people learned a lot???? You've got to be kidding me! "a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing." This quote sums up the thinking at ERAC. You people are all fucking morons for defending this stupid company. "you've got nobody to blame but yourself" is a reasonable quote that I agree with....blame yourself for not getting out sooner!!! I have no fond memories of ERAC (by the way, I was a manager) because it's a fucking sorority...good riddance!

wow. Where to begin:

1. Which did you attend

Everyone! The MBA is analyzed and ranked by more organizations than any other academic degree. Here are the top picks from you About Guide to Business Majors.
1) Harvard Business School
Harvard employs a learning process known as the case method. The case method is an interactive approach to business study that brings reality into the classroom.
2) Wharton Business School
Renowned for innovative teaching methods and a wide range of academic programs and resources, Wharton boasts the world’s largest and most cited faculty.
3) Kellogg School of Management
More than 50 new classes have been added to the Kellogg curriculum since 1995. The everchanging curriculum keeps pace with the everchanging business world.
4) Stanford Graduate School of Business
The Stanford School of Business focuses on what they consider to be the four key components in general management education: leadership, entrepreneurship, global awareness, and social innovation.
5) Michigan's Ross School of Business
The Stephen M. Ross School of Business offers a wide range of curriculum
along with advanced elective courses. They also boast an exciting leadership program that allows students to engage with professors and experts in a variety of important fields.

2. Please notice the spelling

im·be·cile ( P ) Pronunciation Key (mb-sl, -sl)
n.
A stupid or silly person; a dolt.
A person whose mental acumen is well below par.
A person of moderate to severe mental retardation having a mental age of from three to seven years and generally being capable of some degree of communication and performance of simple tasks under supervision. The term belongs to a classification system no longer in use and is now considered offensive.

If you can not spell it, do not use it.

Damn, you're very smart, you learned how to cut and paste! You must know everything about business if you know the top 5. Congratulations! You really got me good...a spelling error! You definately have me beet...oh, I mean beat (another typo, good thing I got that one before you did). You're probably some recruiter who has no job option other than ERAC. This is how ERAC employees rationalize to ex-ERACians. They pick apart something small and insignificant and focus on it, giving them an excuse to say we are all morons (did I spell that one right?) who don't know what the business world has to offer. I would love to see a person with an MBA and a veteran at ERAC face off in business challenges. There's no comparison. Name another company at the top of their respective markets that pay so little to it's employees? Wal-Mart and McDonalds come to mind. That's about it.

I agree that there are very smart people at ERAC. Why would you want to waste your time renting vehicles to people? If you're so smart, why not use your intelligence and help the world, people, etc. instead of being looked down upon by your peers, family, strangers by renting cars? Seriously, you're RENTING cars!!! You're doing nothing that is even remotely respected...anywhere!!! Yeah, you could get to where TJ is, or maybe even Steve Thomas. But do you really think you have good odds? Think again and get out. You and the world will be better off.

What was the highest position you attained at ERAC? Why did you get an MBA to drop off Rx samples?

I'm a sales manager and I quit ERAC because this company paid for my MBA. It's a bit more than dropping of Rx samples as I'm sure you're aware of. You can try to nit-pick (technical term) all you want, but the fact of the matter is that there are way more opportunities out there. I never defended ERAC even when I was a manager because I knew it was a stepping stone. ERAC looks good on a resume, but if you bleed Green you'll be sinking in your career...oh, unless you get to be a GRM, which opens up all the time.

My advice is true advice, not the fake advice Area Managers give all the time with unfufilling promises. Get your experience and get out, simple as that. Why do you think ERAC always hires from the bottom half of colleges? Ever see a harvard, princeton, Yale, even Creighton grad become employed at ERAC? I sure don't recall any. That's because they have the capacity to think for themselves, unlike athletes (by the way, I was a collegiate athlete), sorrority sisters, fraternity brothers, or military. Please, do yourself and the world a favor and get out while you can.

There is ZERO chance you are a sales manager for a respectable company. Anyone in that position would respect the little amount of knowledge they received from Enterprise. Even if it was, how not to treat individuals. Your lack of polish is the other sure reason you are worthless. Dropping "F" bombs and smearing others shows no class.

Just another instance of people not knowing what the true business world is all about. Do you think it's all rosy colored with everyone being polite as if we're in a 1920's British movie? Lack of polish, now that's a good one. won't even respond to that one.

Yeah, I learned that that to get out of ERAC early will save your career. "how not to treat individuals". That one's priceless. Do you ever think Donald Trump cares if he treats an individual like crap if they did the same to him? Son, get a clue to the world and grow up. Your wasted little argument about language is a sore subject that only pertains to small minds with nothing to say.

A former athlete, a former enterprise employee, and now a pharma sales manager.

That is a pretty unique story! Have not heard that path followed before. Tell us more about how special you are.

Are you trying to say Creighton is the same as Yale and Harvard? Not sure too many people outside of the Omaha area even know what Creighton is. They might say... is he the writer for ER?

I think you have some self esteem issues and a bit of a chip on your shoulders. Are you playing better than thou now that you have moved on? Don't you kind of look stupid?

What happened when you were there? Did TJ tell you that you couldn't hack it?
