Default Shady here in the heartland!

It's funny that erac employees can be forced to leave when they find you are posting your resume online but will not fire an employee for doing unethical acts. I have witnessed all of the following by level III's[/color]:

-Telling customers about the geo metro that we don't carry is our only vehicle to rent...unless you want to pay $5 extra for one of 10 cars available.

-Stealing from Employees!

-Changing timesheets incorrectly.

-I actually had an area manager tell an MT that he will make $48,000 when he becomes assistant manager!!!

-Tell customers we get our cars LOFR'd every 3,000 miles.

-Bribing customers to say they are completely satisfied (giving them free rentals if they say CS).

-Bribing employees to never repeat what they said to GRM or VP.

-Tell employees that at least one customer has to complain that you were too aggressive with sales (even when a customer has just been in a total and have their 5 year old daughter in the hospital...horrible, but true story).

-Closing overnight insurance drops the next day to get an extra day's income (this is the miracle unforeseen drop charge).

-Telling customers it's mandatory to buy DW.

-oh, and my most favorite, not closing a ticket until after 2:00.

Just a few examples....I'm sure somebody can think of some more examples.

Where do I begin?! JK. There's not that much actually. There's shadyness in every industry, of course, but the Rx industry is so highly regulated that you can't do anything shady. The most shady act I've ever seen is another rep moving my samples out of plain site so the nurses can't find them. I've only been doing it a year, but that's about it. I've never seen or heard any of my managers or team members do anything remotely shady. We even had a guy get fired for having errors on his T&E report 3 times. 3 strikes and you're out. That's not going on at ecrap.

That's the shittiest part! I was doing some of those things. I'm no better than the next BM, but when there's a system in place to allow such things to go on you don't really think about what you're doing until you come to a point one day. The worst part about it is you're getting propped for doing these unethical things! What other companies gives props for unethical practices? I'd like to see them.

You need to kill yourself and quit trying to act better than you really are, Phil.
