Same old, same old....

Those that have options/heart/guts cast off the $$ shackles and bounce. Others just hang out until they get chased off and collect thier buyout. I am really surprised that there hasn't been any change in leadership at the GRM or GM level in the past couple of years.

Anyone got any thoughts?

I noticed a new downtown store where dollar used to be -- across from the courthouse (in peoria)

Are there now 2 downtown locations or did they close the one under the bridge?

What happened to that one guy... what the hell was his name... worked at the downtown store.. black guy, really funny... lived in bloomington. Branch manager downtown when I was there..

you must have been in P-Town about the same time as myself. 1999-01 if you remember Nick in downtown Peoria. I think that he became a recruiter, if I'm not mistaken--but that information is over four years old. I also asked about Sean not too long back. He's an adjuster for Farmer now. He's a decent guy; I'm happy to see that he got out. What office did you work out of? I was at 50-59 (both dealerships) during my stint. Many moons ago, but it's funny to see things haven't changed.

Nothing has changed in Peoria. Its the same shady type of city managers, same mt turnover, same bullshit dumbass gangbanger customers, and of course the sacred corporate account Caterpillar. I left and I couldn't be happier with my new life. Working for Goff in Peoria was the worst move ever. Even after hrs started to suck.

Now I don't remember Nick being a recruiter -- he was branch manager of Studio 54 after... who... I know Joey Klein was when I started... who was manager... No idea. But the recruiter, there was a gal named Marcey K. who was pretty cool -- she was replaced by a guy I think his name was Sergio? He was an actor, had been in some commercials, and decided to move up to E-rac.

I worked in many different branches, I dont remember the numbers anymore.

Marcy... she recruited me. I think the guy who replaced her may have been gay, but I don't remember for sure. Joey Klein quite about a month before I started. How about Rorey "my hands bleed" Woods? I heard he was promoted and then fired from 54 after I left for sexual harashment. Anyone know what happened to Brandy Beatty? She was always fun to work with.

I dont remmeber Rory Woods ... but Brandy Beaty -- she was fun -- I forgot about her. For some reason I recall seeing a photo of her and Mojo sitting on a motorcycle in the lobby of 54.

Last I heard she was working for a cell phone company -- possibly Verizon -- but that was after I left.

I seem to remember whoever her branch manager was at the time always shafting her... like not allowing her to take time off for her honeymoon, etc, and having little "contests" to see who could make her cry. I never understood that, she was a nice gal, down to earth...
