In all defense of Goff, he probably knows that it isn't going to be much longer till he is gone. Reality is one thing this guy will realize, if he already hasn't. He walked into a nightmare and improved the area a little. However, what he improved has been shot to shit. Pioneer Parkway is an ambsolute mess. Kia and Mits both have shit deals that Carrier and Guz both worked out back in the old days. The problem with Goff right now is he has lost is back bone. His employees all hate their lifes, except Bensing who isn't able to do anything else with his life so he knows he is stuck, and losing people left and right. The domino reaction started with Kudreys leaving, then Wendy, Babs,Newman(all 3 were at the airport), then Kini, Jerod Mcmorris, and then Friel. This all took place within a year. I understand more have left as well. Another thing to note is Travis' best friend Matt Davis was fired. Don't think for one second this isn't a wake up call to Travis. No one's job is ever safe at ERAC. Even if you drink every night and kiss ass to upper management. Don't be suprised if you deliver a car to him one day down in Mossiville at Caterpillar. Its not if, but when???? Keep winning ERAC, I am so glad I am not there anymore.

shit that damn mits deal is bullshit that low ass rate and none of them have the balls enough to change it, i would understand if they are a huge account but they aren't,and i hope t-goff enjoyed his vacation cause his employees busted their asses all the while he was out of town smoking and having fun, ps i do recall that his ass is always on vacation when there are holidays guess he is smart after all,

Goff leaves on purpose, he knows when shit gets out of control. Can you ever reach him at 8am on Mon. or 530pm on Fri. HELL NO. If you have ever worked Pioneer Parkway you will know what I am speaking about. This guy doesn't even show up till 10am. It is just awful. You know what really pisses me off? Its when you finally wake up and realize what a shit hole you are actually in by working in the Peoria area. Going to Tomcats every week doesn't cut the bs I put up with through out the week. Also, working Saturdays is absolutely shitty. 12 res', 9 don't even show. What the fuck!!! Then you have some ass clown like Bensing saying we have to run tighter as a city. Fuck you dude.

I agree, he has done his time. However, time means nothing to upper management. If you have retention problems and corporate accounts taking off left and right, my friend you are still screwed!! Travis is replaceable just like all of us are. Here's one thing I do know about the situation in Peoria. Its a mess and it won't be stopped until someone from upper management comes in and stands up to Obrien Mits and Kia. I am suprised Ford still deals with us. Chevy is real close to kicking our asses out as well. We eventually have to stop taking kicks to the balls by all the points I just stated. There is enough retail business in Peoria to where we could tell Mits to fuck off. Also, don't you think selling DW would be easier to the public than to a person coming out of the dealership who was just told to not take the protection. Also, the great account "Caterpillar", won't be around in 6-10yrs. If you educate yourself in the actual corporate world you'd probably notice that Caterpillar is slowly moving their shit to the South. Why? Cheaper land, cheaper workers, less restrictions on building, and NO UNIONS!!! My advice is to get out of Peoria before its to late. The account that gives the most money to the Heartland group is leaving soon. If you were smart, you would try and get a job at Caterpillar so your dream of 6yrs 6 figures might actually come true. I respect Travis and realize he drinks a lot of ERAC koolade, but honestly call a spade a spade, the dude is a snake.

The account that gives the most money to the Heartland Group is leaving soon...? What are you talking about. That is State Farm not Cat. Cat will continue to be around, they are not taking their corporate office out of country. They would not be investing as much in the city of Peoria as they do or in their new museum. You are an idiot. It is also not Travis's call to stand up to Mitz and the Uftrings on rate. That is done with the approval of Steve and Tim. They are to scared of fleet growth to do what is right.
| |||
cat is not going anywhere , and is the number one account around here, and true i hear they are about to get kicked out of the uftring dealerships if they don't get the act together, and if that happens he will for sure be gone, the problem around here is employees quit and they haven't replaced them

First, never once said Cat was leaving the country. Its a global company by the way. Second, it is true the labor force is moving south, and with that eventually you will see the Mossville plant go. This will happen. When talking about going south, I am not referring to Mexico. I am talking about southern parts of Alabama, Mississippi, and Texas. You are correct about the headquarters downtown. That is staying, but Mossiville won't be. This will hurt the city of Peoria. Just ask the workers when you deliver a car to their house or office. If the person is in HR they will tell you first hand that Cat projects the Mossiville plant to move. Just ask around. Last, state farm is no longer with ERAC, slowly we will see less and less of them. So Corporate wise, I'd say Cat does spend the most money at ERAC. I don't have to name call because these are the facts. Calling me names simply justifies your own ignorance. Wake up, get the fuck out of Peoria. One more thing, they can't replace all these people leaving because no one wants to work at ERAC, that is a fact. Recruiting numbers are down more than ever. Just ask Michelle Wagnor when she is drunk what she thinks. She will talk your ear off about how bad it is getting. I have no respect for her because she even wants to leave but won't. For all of you, tomorrow will suck!!! Keep winning ERAC-P town.
