I'd be more inclined to believe that actually. There was a reason why I put it as I did -- "someone told me" as opposed to outright stating the facts.

Thinking back, I do recall them coming up with semi-elaborate stories about everyone who left, be it on their own or being let go -- then we got a very stern talking-to explaining how we should NOT associate with those people anymore because they were such bad people -- this guy talking about CBass was most likely regurgitating what he had been told.

So how are things in Morton these days? I always got along well with those dealerships. The office used to just consist of a desk in Lemans with 15 cars. When I left, it might have had 50 or so.

No she didn't. I have first hand knowledge of her firing. She was robbing the 30 day column to pay the 90 day column.

No she was not. The story gets better and better. She was fake bakin the 2 oclock count. Dickey and Guz came in the office at 2:05. They were at 98%. And there was 9 cars on the lot. which is about 85% at that office. When they researched the cars sitting. Some had been returned for a couple of days and she was riding out the billings to STate Farm extension on the billings. Even switching the units on the tickets because she needed to rent that car.

The whole city was bitching daily at that time that she was always "tight" but always had tons of cars sitting.

She got canned and for reason. It was about the only time it was done right

Are you saying that Joe Smith returns his state farm car on Monday, and she would then contact state farm and keep him "in the rental" for a few more days" even though he wasn't in the car?

Jeez that's stupid. All it would take is for the agent to tell the customer "well, since you picked up your car from the body shop on monday, you have to pay for the rest of the week's rental out of pocket..."

I've learned that when people get greedy, that's where they get stupid too.
