T Goff... I'm thinking that I remember that name from my tour of duty (99-01), but I'm not sure. Is he a product of Peoria and Deal or no? I remember Shane Tomlinson, (what happened to him), but Travis... I assume that he's another bloated city manager, but I can't picture the guy. Just wondering

it does need to start at the top quit the occupancy issue so there are always cars, all branches need is to sit on 3-5 extra cars and there would never be a problem, but the way they run things it doesn't work that way. so tell me what happened with state farm i hear they are using alot of hertz, especially in bloomington apt, i hear they now use hertz for their corp clients flying in

State Farm is a done deal. They're not with us and are not for us. Hertz has proven that they can provide better business. Also, Andy Taylor got way to confident and thought he just had to show up in Bloomington once every six mths to see how shitty things were. From what I know, the inverstors that purchased Hertz from Ford basically came in and told the STF big guy," look, you can stay with Enterprise and pay out the ass for average service and vehicles for your clients, or you can come with us and the first time there is a problem you let me know." hertz put a garuntee on their product and is sticking to it. Enterprise tries but the business model allows to much shit to get fucked up. Another problem was the head of STF found out about this site and researched what was going on. If you look around once in awhile you will see that ERAC has lost more business than its gained. My facts are right, you might say bs but this comes from a person in STF.

i agree with the way things are run enterprise can't compete with hertz and they know it, hertz always has cars, and what amazes me is on the weekends they sit with alot cars and still make money, kinda makes you wonder how they do it, oh well we all know the e policy if you sit below 90 your cars are taken and you will be screwed, and hertz will continue taking business, but enterprise will never tell you that, they will say hertz isn 't making a dent in their markets

I would have liked to listen in on that conversation. __________________ "Don't worry about what anybody else is going to do. The best way to predict the future is to invent it." -- Alan Kay |
