OK, you're tired of all the threads having to do with city 5 and the problems that happen there. However, I see these employees and a CRM now actually having a backbone and not standing for all the shit that comes with this job. City 5 has had more turnover in the past year and 6 months than any other city in the heartland. Where's my proof......try HR. A simple question asked to and answered by Dave Carrier. It doesn't take a real smart person to see why there is a more than normal overturn in a city. Rockford is a close step behind Peoria, but I think Mac got a better handle on things now that he has gotten his feet wet. When you hire MTs and they see managers and city managers running for the hills what kind of message does that send to a fresh employee. The spin Guz puts on things is so easy to see right thru. Just question him about problems and you'll see he trips his own answers up. City 5 has become a mess and for all I know it has always been that way, the employees who comment on here are simply tired of the problems they face everyday. I understand and can see why all of city 5 has been gutted. When you have moron manager(Bensing & Chamber) you can't get a lot accomplished. I am glad to finally see employees voicing their opinions not only on threads, but in actual meetings where maybe something can get accomplished. I will not comment again on this matter, I just felt City 5 employees should know that someone sees the backbone and likes it. Its time more employees voice their opinions from different cities.Let Guz work an office for a little bit see if its still like the 80's and 90's.

Backbone? They have none. They blame others for their shortcumings. It must be Travis's fault? right? They stand up to nothing. Did they tell Steve and Tim their concerns at the meeting? hell no. The ran to this website and bitched more.

Fuck whoever this nameless pussy is......tim and steve instilled some sense of confidence in us after the gay ass meeting but this was just another chance for tim to act in front of steve. he is a fucking pussy. he says what steve wants to hear and leaves the scene afterwards. he calls one or two branches and tells whoever the extremely busy employee who answers the phone to send a message to the city about how much he cares about their well-being. do it yourself you fucking brain dead cock. practice what you preach.....at least everything except the butt-fucking i saw you and AG engaged in after the meeting in room 413. using that extra chunky peanut butter instead of KY Jelly was fucking brilliant. you and steve and tim can go blow city 5. i guarantee erac will be gone inside of a year....here is the breakdown. 1 manager leaves. an mt leaves. an assistant mgr leaves. everyone before they leave will tell everyone else how shitty this job is and they will leave. i will tell the dealerships and cat that the erac management said to fuck yourselves and how tim and steve encourage interracial gay anal sex during lunch......the city is toast and i fell horrible for however gets the city manager job. fuck you, i'm texas toast!

As a city 5 employee, i want to know what backbone we have shown. As far as blaming travis, that is bull shit like the above post said. we knew travis has been successful with the company, so we don't blame him. i blame other aspects of this business. i am not an mt or asst. so i have seen what shit has been laid upon us. obviously a change from the top has to come to improve the 25% retention we have as a group. so shut the fuck up about mt's quitting their mgr's and take some responsibilty yourselves.

there is only so much an employee can do to try to make this shit right, the only problem i see is no one backing up people here in this city, when we don;'t have fucking cars to rent don't call up and ask why we said no, its simple math, u can't rent what u don't have,we try to have dealerships make reservations they refuse then call at the last minute, wanting a car, we say no then get bitched at by the upper management, hey u can't run a business like that and still think people don't don't get burned out, maybe things will chnage i doubt it, most people who post on here will be gone soon anyway. damn i'm full from all that texas toast

Any new or young employee that comes into an area is going to be most influenced by the people they perceive as leaders. In most cases, it is the 2-3 top managers and the city manager. Since 625 doesn't have any managers worth a poop, they'd look to their city manager. When the city manager resigns because he's tired of working 16 hour days at an airport and having to listen to Guz bitch at him, there is no other choice but for Guz to try to do damage control. It wouldn't surprise me a bit to see 4-5 people leave the city in the next 2 weeks, before Goff's seat is cold. The city may have a few people keeping the faith, but anyone teetering on the edge will have been pushed overboard by Goff's resignation. I bet Guz was trying everything he could to see what Goff was going to put on his exit interview. He does that with every city manager that quits. Guz wouldn't be Guz if he wasn't trying to make himself look good in front of Steve (or whoever his current boss would happen to be). If I were Steve (and thank goodness I'm not), I'd sit Guz down with the Murray Matrix and say "now, Mr. Guzinski, acceptable performance would be here (points to the corporate average). You, sir, are here (points to the very bottom of the matrix and shakes head). How can we keep you employed?" Anything Guz tried to say to act like he's doing the right thing should be overshadowed by his position on the matrix.

" i guarantee erac will be gone inside of a year....here is the breakdown. 1 manager leaves. an mt leaves. an assistant mgr leaves. " This comment shows how clueless you are. ERAC won't just shut down. Your city group would be better off if all of your managers left. Then all the individuals that they influenced. A city full of drivers and a three "good" employees could put up the same (or better) income, package, ESQI and fleet growth numbers as the currect 625 staff.

If the Leadership really cared they would read between the lines of all the valid feedback that is posted here. |

So you expect ERAC leadership to come on here for their insight. Not going to happen. It would have been nice to see the "5 people who are leaving in the next couple of weeks" step up and say something at the meeting.
