Default Employee Family Rentals

The holidays are coming up and nothing is better than seeing the extended family and apologizing to them about how their family rental was fucked up over the past couple months. Here's the latest for me.........

1. Cousin walks into her Rez for a business trip. E-clone states "We have your car, it just isn't here yet." "OK" the cousin states and says she will go to lunch and be back. She comes back and E-drone states "Your car is on it's way" She waits for over an HOUR. E-clone states, "I don't know what happened, it should have been here." She waits longer and then realizes she is being fed "Enter-lies" and leaves the office and drives her car. Time of transaction: Not 8 minutes, but 3 1/2 hours!!!!

2. Uncle walks in to the office to return his car. He finds the E-clone literally sleeping in the office chair. I figured his battery went dead! My uncle makes a noise to awaken the drone. You want to know what the clone said to him "Please don't tell anyone!" I told my uncle, "Well at least you got a car TO return!"

3. And far worse. I set up a rental for my Grandparents, Aunt and Uncle, and my cousin and boyfriend. The REZ: 1 minivan for 6 people booked 2 months in advance. I talked to the office twice about this and let them know the importance of the event: My Wedding. When my uncle goes to pick up the so-called minivan, what is it........... A fucking Durango. My grandmother has had hip surgery twice and my grandpa has knee problems. No way could they get into the vehicle. They ended up having to drive their own TWO vehicles. When they showed up to the BIGGEST day of MY life, I was told how ERAC once again screwed up. How does this make me feel.........Really proud of the company I work for.

So this coming holiday season, I hope that it is spent rejoicing the good times of your lives and not spent APOLOGIZING for your company screwing up what is seen as something so easy. I want to note that these are just examples of my family reservations and not the screwed up corp. rentals I set up for my accounts. If you have anything to add feel free.

Keep winning ERAC!!!!!

"Just book the deal", "But we don't have any cars!" "Don't question me kid!"

This is the exact reason I quit the company. I couldn't stand another holiday season working and screwing up peoples life. It is not a great way to conduct business. The Wednesday before Thanksgiving is the worst day in the hole year. I didn't get out of the office last year till 7:30pm. I arrived at 6am to wash cars. Man am I glad those days are far gone. Best of luck getting thru it...

I have Thursday and Friday off for Thanksgiving. Ahhhhhhhhh. One thing I give erac credit for, it made me appreciate and not take my current job for granted.
