Default "The Mirage" vs. "The Dream"

So many things have changed at ERAC over the years. The PR about the realities of working there are uncovered and discussed on the net and fed to prospective employees. I am surprised anyone signs on to work there. Being a recruiter for ERAC has to be one of the toughest jobs in the Company.

In the mid 90's ERAC was rated a "100 best places to work" by Fortune. I am pretty sure it hasn't come close sense.

How many employees can ERAC turn and burn before it really impacts loyalty of accounts, other employees etc?

If you currently work there and feel stuck, don't believe the hype. There IS life after ERAC. Other companies do pay well, have better retirement and health care plans, pay for MBAs and give more days off around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Don't wait around, don't be a victim. Take action and bail.

well thats what working at a RETAIL job entails. They have crappy pay benefits and hours. When will people realize that this is straight up a retail job. it does not look good on your resume, no matter what people think. RETAIL JOB

I wouldn't say it doesn't look good on a resume. It doesn't look bad either if you are going for another sales position, and provided you like pharm., you could actually get recruited right from your ERAC office to work in that field. And, if you like multi-level marketing like Amway, and you've worked at ERAC for at least 1 year, you WILL have someone try to recruit you as a distributor.

However, there are a myriad of other companies a young college graduate could choose from that would look as good or better on a resume AND would allow for greater pay and more free time while a candidate was presumable biding their time to find a new gig.
