Keep doing your donut drops while I am making six figures and working far less hours than you. Good job Eclone. Enjoy renting my family an SUV for our ski trip. How do you like them apples?
Wow! A so called "Wealthy Family Man" gets on this site to talk about his 2 previous jobs and now he makes 6 figures at a new job? If you have money coming out of your ears and left the rental world behind you, why do you insist on making yourself look like an idiot here. ABM for ERAC huh, couldn't make it to the next easy level of BM. Also, when you moved to Arizona, how mad were you that your ERAC level 3 wouldn't sign off on your transfer because he knew how much of a tool you were. So your only way to make ends meat was to go to HLE and "set the world on fire?" I am still trying to figure out what that means.

Lastly, if you know so much about how ERAC sucks, why in god's name would you reserve a SUV for a family trip with them. You should know how often a customer comes in for their suv reservation and gets a chevy Aveo or dodge neon instead. You probably screwed up dozens of people's family trips being an ABM.

Arizona, ABM........ your BM didn't happen to be SC in washington was it. You Tool!!!!!

I just want to come in to have you rent me the SUV so I can laugh at you. Oh yeah I still make more money than you and have a hot wife and my kids are likely the ones beating up yours on the playground. Keep working at Erac for your 45k per year and keep getting fatter thanks to your EOM outings and keep trying to pick up fat girls at the bars you hang out in.

Ok...this conversation went down hill fast.

Why does it always come down to the personal jabs? The truth is ERAC has grown a little too big, a little too soon. With that, a lot of groups...including 62 have lost the original vision of Jack Taylor. Rent Cars - Make Money - Make People Smile! Seriously, how hard is that?
However, people like TJ and Steve have lost sight. They are in reactive mode. They have people doing reports about their reports, instead of focusing on making their employees and customers happy. Isn't that what the Mission Statement says???

"Back in the day", there was nothing but fun. Even when bad things happened it was fun. At the end of the day, we all knew we weren't finding the cure for cancer...we were renting cars. Somehow we all had faith that things would work out, and they did. When you went home, every customer that was supposed to, had a car. You found a way to make them smile, and then we went out for a beer and laughed about it.

Now, it's a police state. YOU CAN ONLY BACK IN CARS! YOU MUST REPORT ON YOUR REPORTS! No one shows up to after hours, no one goes out after city meetings, no one has a sense of team and family anymore. It's freaking sad.

I wish so many of you had experienced the "hay day" when we all came to work for the fun. Back when you thought maybe you would quit when it got hard and the pay sucked...but you stayed for the people and the sheer enjoyment of it.

Now, that time is only urban legend. But I know it existed, because I was there.

Great take. Totally agree. ST came into GP62 talking all kinds of trash about PH. Seems to me like ST is going to go down in history as a pretty poor leader. I don't think he could hold PH's jock. PH was hard to work for at times, but at least he wasn't a weasel.

Your right, back in the day!!!!!!
After hours, jokes, laughter, marketing, comradre, and competition.

What has replaced these fun times..... Friday memos, calendars, inactive account reports, fuel logs, ESQI conference calls, OX conference calls, lunch fucking schedules! And to add the biggest joke to this list, PDM's!!!!!

I think that last one calls for a new thread.
