Default The Great PDM's

Let's here the latest take on these. PDM's are the biggest joke. How many of you out there get these handed to you on the 15th and 30th of each month and are told, "sign here." I see that central is the only one's who do it correctly because the wrath of the e-clone nazi will be brought upon you.

East side, does guz even know what these are? I have heard him refer to them with disgust also. What always gets me is how I go through a lecture stating how we need to be more efficient with these, and then my level 3 faxes me over my pdm so I can sign it and she can turn it into guz. That's efficiency?

Most offices don't even get lunches let alone market.

Get real folks, anyone with half a brain can market or hold conversations with existing accounts. Why do we have to be babied and have sub-bullets for our sub-bullets for our bullets, for our steps!! Can we say micro-managed?

A pdm stands for performance development management and it is a tool if used properly will generate more of an effort towards marketing accounts that need to be marketed, whether it be to service the account that already exists or gain a potential account. They are done on the 15th and the 30th of each month and start with the mt and go all the way through to the gm. Study's by the company that gave us this tool have shown signifigant growth to companys that use them. we are extremely lucky that we were chosen as another company to pilot this program. Hence maybe this is why we are growing at 15% right now and HLE is struggling to gain business. Peoria was sold out of cars as of Monday at 9am all week and HLE had cars all over the place and ERAC accounts still would not use them due to the relationships we have built by using pdm's. All we have to do is put a bit more effort into this and we will be the only game left in town. I heard Hle is 10% backwards in Central IL from last year and rumor has it that an office may close and there is going to be a change in upper management soon. I did not even know until Friday that they had a "City Manager" for 2 stores and this guy is not even the boss of the airport because the guy out there told him to back the fuck up and don't ruin his operation. GO Green!!!!

I hope you don't believe that companies outside of rental car companies actually use PDM's? Because we don't. Most of the business tactics and techniques used at ERAC are not used, in the grand scheme of things, in the real world. Don't be fooled. Get out now while you still have the chance. You are all wasting your careers.

Why is it that the people who get promoted anymore are looked down upon? The fact is that the people who do their jobs right and use the tools provided to them are the one's who make it and become successful. Just because you were a good ticket dodger and sold high dw% does not mean you have any sort of clout or ability to know what it takes to manage an office. and if you are a manager and are complaining on here then shame on you for not having the backbone to use your position to help make things better for your employees coming in and therefor increasing morale and stability. When will you complainers understand that the idiots who complain on here will not be successful in anything they do because they can not adapt to their surroundings. This is just an avenue to make them think they know what they are talking about and try to bring successful minded people down to their level. sad really. Call me a greenie or anything you want but the fact is that I was raised to give it my all no matter what I do and if I could not hack it then be a man and admit it and not blame others. The bad rap our generation gets these days is because of morans on here following some idiots plan to try to break up harmony. The saddest thing is that most people know who is writing this stuff and the people who are wasting their time complaining on here are ruining fun for all of the rest of us. Please try to make this a positive website and if you have grievances bring them up to people who can change them and not some fuck up in CA with nothing better to do than rub himself in peanut butter all day and sing I'm too sexy.

Are you kidding me? This site's soul purpose is NOT to be positive here. I think you need to find a different web site if you can't find something funnier to say than the peanut butter, sexy bit.
