OK. Just received word from a credible source today on how this went down. If your told Guz left to tackle different opportunities, don't buy it. The big issue was Peoria, employee turnover on the east, and multiple calls to ST from Caterpillars travel account head. Caterpillar basically got him fired. A deal was met that if Guz left, Cat would hang on a little longer, but they said change better come with them being number 1 priority. After all this 2nd in charge of ERAC was contacted by Cat. Immediate calls went out to Davenport. Shit hit the fan with a few threats and now Guz is gone. This is all from a credible source from Davenport. You might say......It was turnover, but turnover has been high all across the company. Cat was the big straw. But it also didn't help he went through 5 city managers in 3yrs. Now that he is gone. Who does ERAC turn too. Get ready for promotions!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah right..

Cat didnt get that jerkoff fired. he got himself fired. This was long overdue. its pretty easy to point to the one issue of shitty service to cat.........................i do believe this is just the final straw that broke that michigandrian's back. You dont lose all of your City Managers and the majority of your employees at all levels in this company. It just doesnt go down like that. I would hate to be Guz right now. What is he going to do. His frigging personal car's lic. plate even ref. to erac. What comes around goes around and its nice to finally see that he had worn out his welcome.
