The fallacy is that you are "instantly rich" when you get to Level III. Payplan is based off what you did in prior 12 months, with targets for you to do better as you drive the business. No improvement and he could make less.

Not completely true.

When first promoted to Level 3 in the Heartland Group that have a $ figure in mind for a 1st timer. Right around $60,000. So they will give you a percentage that gets you there.

Then on future promotions, they will sell you on raising your % to "maintain" what you have done. Telling you the big bucks will come at that higher %, once you get things turned around.

How is the Heartland doing these days? When I left they were second from the bottom in the country for OP.

I have no idea what their OP is, but I do know they have a horrible city manager in BM running the show. This man dodges his employees and makes a bunch of promises that he just cannot keep. He has even gone as far to talk shit behind his employees backs to other BM's in the city....BM's who barely know him and, of course, go back and tell the employee. He is worthless, bad for erac and I hope his new found Peoria heart-ache continues. I have heard from a reliable source that another few BM's will be walking out shortly and that the quality of the new MT's is that of dog shit. Sucks to be you Makiney - have fun with your career choice. You are looked down upon by society; those that you serve.......and yes, I would like some fries with that.

Well I have heard from reliable sources, yes that is plural, that he didn't even make a commission check in january and made a $1000 commission check in february. I don't know how he figures he is going to make 100K this yr. Let alon ethe 175K he has told other BM's. Yes folks that is 175K he came up with one day in his head.
