Branch Manager Salary

What is the starting salary for a branch manager?? What would the base salary be, and what would the incentives be a high and a low??

Now I left 3 years ago so I have no idea what the pay is now.

The group I was in all BM's (and Area Managers for that matter) were on a base of $30,000.
BM's got a % of branch profit each month (up to 7% max)
AM's got a % of area profit each month (up to 5% max)

In group 62, don't they just get a hog every month?

What would be a average profit for a month?

Do you still get over time as a AM or BM?

BM and AM's are actually on "real" salary so they don't log any hours, so no overtime.

Profits for your commission rely on the total cars in your branch or area and total net profit.
Your net profit per car could be outstanding but if you don't have many cars you are not getting paid much at all.

If you have a massive fleet then your OP/car does not have to be a strong to get a decent check.

For Example(OP = $170/car on 200 cars = $34,000 x 7% = $2,590 comm.
If you OP @ 275/car on 65 cars = = $17,875 x 7% = $1,251 comm.

Area Manager(OP = $175/car on 575 cars = $100,625 x 5% = $5,031 comm.

The problem is I hear no BM's are even on 7% anymore and no AM's on 5%.
And the days of great flip are long gone. I remember one month as a AM that I made a $10,000 comm check b/c flip was so high. Usaully we could count on 2 huge checks a year for strong flip months.
