i would really like to know why anyone at erac would talk shit anyway....please don't try to come out with your chest held high and talking all this shit....what do you think is so good about this company???? opportunity??? advancement??? don't you see that you are all just helping the person in front of you succeed.....1 out of 10 maybe makes it and the rest are just sheep. i would like a better than 10% chance of success in life

That is why you will work until you are 79 and die with no money in the bank and a what if mentality. At least I can say that I work for a company that has proven success in breeding more millionaires than any other company in history besides 1. Just because you did not have the balls to stick with it or the talent level to get it done makes no difference to me. I have made it to a position that you obviously never did and could probably get the job you have now by simply walking into your boss's office and telling him that if he wants someone who won't quit when the going gets tough then he should cut you loose my friend. How long will you stay with your new "sales" job before you get scared and tell your husband that maybe you should look somewhere else because you got yelled at today or you had to stay late or you missed your sack lunch and your sandwich he made you wilted. Get a fucking clue on life and on the real world. You are a quitter and always will be. And the goat comment proves that you are starting to realize that you are losing ground in this banter by the second. just the type of comment I was trying to avoid. When you say quit, did you really mean better myself??? Is it considered quitting when I go from $35K/year @ 60+ hours to $70K/year @ 38 hours and go to a company that is actually respected....you do the math eclone. Do you really think you will be one of the millionaire's you hear your manager talk about all day. I know you will not. Erac is a joke. All of your Corporate accounts hate the fact that they have to use you and talk shit behind your backs. You are loathed. Bet. So if you want to talk about quitting and all of that, then to you I must say.....you are complacent. You are comfortable in your job and know you will not ever leave. You win? Let me throw you a description if I may. You went to erac out of school because you heard it was a fun place to work and make a little money. You might have even had a friend working there as well which made it all the more fun. Then things got a bit tough for you and your friends at erac were becoming successful and you were getting left behind. You may have made it to a MA or AM(doubtful with your mindset) and then found out that you had to actually start selling to make money. This made you uncomfortable and being pushed to succeed was not something you were quite ready for. Now the thinking starts. Should I just quit because the going is getting tough. You look at Monster and such and see "sales" jobs that say 70k/year. Then you accept that because your resume says erac which is a highly touted sales job and your employer is all about it. You might have put that you were top in sales for a few months and closed some good accounts but in reality you are just living someone else's accomplishmnets because you know this "respected" company is not going to question 1 of the largest company's in the world about 1 guy who left them. They know you quit because of the hours and being managed to be the best and not just left alone. My first CM showed me how to work 50 hrs per week and get more things done than people who can't organize themselves and work 60+. I am sorry you never got to that point. I wish you luck in your new adventure and hope for your sake and the sake of your family that when the going gets tough and the sales aren't coming in and the 70k they showed you that could easily be made isn't happening that you buckle down instead of running away to the next big thing. Meanwhile, I just doubled my fleet and with the new position the company is taking will most likely make about 80k next year and set myself up for 100+ shortly. Good luck hater

I was an assistant manager. The city I worked in was falling apart. Everyone was quitting; ee's, city managers, etc.....there was no structure. I left for my family, as well as myself. I work hard everyday and have made my own way. No one has set anything up for me. Good luck with erac and have fun waiting in line with the rest of the drones. Try not to assume so much...it makes you look stupid.

Then I know who this is I think. I met you at a diversity meeting one time. I heard you left. Hope everything is going well for you in your new gig. I used to have a cousin that worked for the American Cancer Society. she loved it. I know you will do well there. Sorry about all the mean comments in our discussion, I just hate when people are not appreciative of the opportunities they get presented to them due to erac. Most people could never get the jobs they have now straight out of college and if they could then they are selling themselves short. Good luck Sam:)

Not even close.........wrong gender and weight class. I did work in her city though. If you can make 70K at the American Cancer Society, I would be amazed. If you like ERAC, that's all that matters. I am just saying not to assume people's motives. More money, family time, sick of all the shit.....all are good reasons to leave. If you don't have any of these issues, then more power to you.
