I too was an Old School Enterpriser back when making money was fun. 8 yrs and countless achievement awards made the job rewarding. I can certainly say one thing though, when flip was good and OP was awesome, $125,000 / yr for 3 yrs straight was certainly good money....hence the push out by good old Brian H. I have run into the likes of Corvers, Van Dam, Ainsworth, and a few others in the past several months and all seem to be happy and doing well. Would like to know more about where Pete Clavette is. Seems like he just picked up and disappeared. Anyone here from or know where he has settled to?

Back in the day, OP at over $250 per car and $800 per car flip was the norm.

I remember in two months back to back getting a commission cheque as a branch manager of $18000 in each month. Remember, the export market was huge then. We had Caravans on the books for $12000 and selling them as UCS for over $27000 each. Imagine pulling 600 vans with flip on each of over $13000. Not to mention, trucks, suv's and everything else that was going south of the border at huge flip dollars.

It's that fat fuck Perdikakis that is the problem. Always eating instead of pounding the pavement.

Heard from Pete a month or so ago, he is apparently doing great. Has two kids and is back home in Maine working in insurance. He's managed a pretty good sized agency out there for the last two years.
